We understand your urgency and desperation, but let's focus on the principles of God's word. We are instructed in First John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Firstly, it is wonderful that the request is being made in Jesus' name, as it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," First Timothy 2:5 WEB.
However, we must also remember that we cannot force someone to become a Christian, as it is a personal choice each individual must make. Our role is to pray, share the gospel, and live lives that reflect Christ's love. It is the Holy Spirit's role to convict and transform hearts. "Let your sanctification be known by all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:5-7 WEB
Regarding the relationship issue, we must address that having a relationship with someone other than your spouse is adultery and sinful. It is clearly stated in Exodus 20:14, "You shall not commit adultery." WEB
We pray fervently for your husband's salvation and that any sinful relationships be severed completely. If he is involved in an adulterous relationship, we pray for the Holy Spirit to convict his heart to put it away permanently. We also pray for the love and grace of God to fill you both and your marriage.
Let us lift up this situation together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we pray for your will to be done in their lives and marriage. We ask that you draw her husband to yourself, that he would come to know you as his Lord and Savior. We pray that the Holy Spirit would convict his heart and turn him away from any sinful relationships. We ask for complete severance of any adulterous ties, with absolutely no delay, in Jesus' name.
We also pray for your grace, love, and comfort to surround our sister. Strengthen her faith and fill her with your peace. Guide her through this trial and give her the wisdom and courage to stand for righteousness.
Lord, we ask for complete healing and restoration in their marriage. We pray that you would make their union a testimony of your goodness and faithfulness.
We thank you for your promises and for working all things together for the good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
