We understand your urgency and passion for your husband's salvation. It's wonderful to see your desire for him to invite Jesus Christ into his heart and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Firstly, we commend you for your faith and remind you of the power of intercessory prayer. James 5:16 tells us, The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective. As you pray for your husband, know that your prayers are not going unheard.
However, it's crucial to remember that we cannot make this decision for anyone, no matter how much we desire it for them. Each person must make this choice for themselves. Your husband needs to hear the Gospel, but he must be the one to believe, confess, and invite Jesus into his heart. This can be helped by faith and prayer. 1 Corinthians 14:1 Follow after love, and earnestly desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. And Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved wife and her husband. Lord, we thank You for the desire You've placed in her heart for her husband's salvation. We ask that You soften his heart, open his ears, and let him hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. Give her the wisdom, patience, and love to be a shining example of Your grace. Let the day of repentance and salvation be today if it is Your will. We pray that he will come to believe in his heart that Jesus is Lord and confess with his mouth, leading to his salvation. Fill their home with Your Holy Spirit and let them grow in Your love to be the Christians you want them to be. Let them be baptized by the baptism of Jesus Christ and establish a Christian marriage. Let their marriage show that Jesus Christ is the Lord of their lives.
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
Be patient, loving, and prayerful. Share the Gospel with him, and let God do the rest. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Also, continue to pray with us and let us know how we can further support you both.
