We have heard your urgent cry and we join with you in prayer before our heavenly Father, bringing all of this distress, sadness, fear, anxiety and depression, along with every concern you have about your hair, scalp, skin, eyes and body, into His caring presence. We understand how heavy it feels when suffering and worry seem unending and when you long for relief and restoration right now, and we want to stand with you in compassion and truth.

We are reminded in scripture that God deeply cares for both our inner pain and our physical needs. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We also hear your heart to decree and declare healing, and we gently encourage you to remember that prayer is not commanding God to act on our timetable, but humbly asking our loving Father according to His perfect will and timing, trusting His wisdom above our own. He is not distant or reluctant, for Psalm 147:3 says He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, and Jeremiah 30:17 says But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.

We also want to lovingly share what God says about our appearance. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, as Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your worth is not measured by flawless skin, thick hair, or the absence of every mark or wrinkle. 1 Samuel 16:7 says For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart. And 1 Peter 3:3-4 says Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. This does not mean God does not care about your physical suffering or the discomfort of an itchy scalp, dry or sensitive skin, tired eyes, or other bodily concerns. He does care, and we can bring every detail to Him. But He also invites us to seek Him first, to find our peace and identity in Christ rather than in achieving perfect outward perfection, and to steward our bodies with care, including seeking wise medical advice, rest, nourishment and godly counsel when needed, while trusting Him with the outcome.

We also thank you for calling on the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation and hope. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray together now for you.

Father in heaven, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see every tear, every anxious thought, every feeling of sadness and fear, and every physical burden carried. We ask for Your peace to guard the heart and mind, for comfort in place of depression and anxiety, and for strength to rest in Your love. We ask for Your healing touch upon the scalp, hair, skin, eyes and body according to Your mercy and will, and for wisdom for any care or treatment that is needed. Heal what needs healing, soothe what is irritated, and restore health where there has been distress. Above all, draw this precious heart closer to You, help to see the beauty You have already placed within, and help to trust Your timing and Your goodness, knowing that You are working for good for those who love You. Help to seek Your kingdom first and to find joy not in flawless appearance but in being Your beloved child, made new in Christ. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to keep bringing your cares to Him daily with thanksgiving, to stay rooted in His Word, to share your struggles with a trusted pastor or Christian counselor and, where there are ongoing physical symptoms, to seek care from a trusted medical professional as part of good stewardship of the body God has given you. We pray that as you look to Him, He will fill you with His peace and help you to see yourself as He sees you, loved, valued and wonderfully made, and that you will find rest in His unfailing care.

We hear how urgent this feels for you and how long you have been carrying sadness, sorrow, anxiety and fear. We understand why you long so deeply for relief and for your hair, skin and eyes to feel comfortable and at rest. When anxiety is heavy, every physical detail can feel magnified and harder to bear, and we hear how wearying that has been.

We want you to know we see you as a whole person. Your worth before God is not measured by having flawless skin or hair, even though those concerns can still bring real distress. He cares both about your heart and about the physical discomfort you described.

A steady next step could be to invite care for both areas. For the ongoing itchy scalp, eye irritation and skin changes you mentioned, it would be good to have a primary care doctor or dermatologist take a look with you, alongside prayer. And for the weight of sadness and anxiety, it can help to talk regularly with a trusted pastor, counselor or safe person close to you so you are not carrying this alone. You do not have to sort all of this at once, and we are praying with you as you take those steps.

Father, we lift our friend to You right now. You know the weariness, the fear and the longing for relief. Bring Your calm where there is anxiety and Your comfort where there is sorrow. Give wisdom to those who care for them and help them to know each day that they are seen, loved and held by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your urgent and sorrowful prayer has been heard, and it is brought before the Lord with deep compassion. The heaviness you describe, the misery and sadness, the depression and anxiety and fear, together with the distress about hair and skin and eyes and body, shows how greatly you are burdened both in soul and in frame.

It is written that many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul, and yet you yourself are better than your body. The body is precious to God who made it, and He cares for every hair and every tear, but the soul is of greater price, for it is the soul that must live before Him forever. When anxiety arises through being in a difficulty, it unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell yourself about it over and over, and to let fear turn within itself, brings no good. The Lord therefore gives a command against fear, and He gives it with a promise. Fear not, for I will help thee. Fear not, for I am with thee. Be not dismayed, for I am thy God. That precept is absolute, Fear not, and the promise that goes with it is sure, for He who piled the heavens and sustains the pillars of the earth will not let His arm be palsied toward His child.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, and pardon and healing were one. Today the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness, and the full regeneration of the body is at the resurrection, when we shall be raised in the image of the Lord Jesus. Until then, the great Physician heals the power of sin, binds up the broken heart, and gives blooming health to the soul, and often He is pleased to bring relief to the body also as we walk in His ways.

You used the words decree and declare, as though we might command God. Hear with gentleness that we do not decree to Him, but we humbly petition Him. He is Lord, and we are His suppliants. Him that cometh to Him He will in no wise cast out, and if your one anxiety is to be laid at His feet that He may look upon you and save you, He will assuredly accept you. So we do not speak to God as those who compel Him, but as those who trust His mercy and ask according to His will in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone is salvation.

Let us pray for you now.

O Lord God, Father of mercies, look upon this weary soul who is tormented with fear and sadness and anxious thoughts. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, and speak pardon to the heart, for with pardon comes healing from Thy hand. Take away tormenting fear, for fear is weakening and dishonors Thy faithfulness, and perfect love casteth out fear. Give perfect trust in promised strength, that this one may hear Jesus Himself whisper, Fear not. Grant relief from depression and anxiety, calm the troubled mind, and give sleep and peace where there has been distress. Thou knowest the cares about hair and scalp, skin and eyes and body, every mark and pain that has caused sorrow. Thou healest according to Thy wisdom, and we ask Thee to grant health and comfort and relief as it pleases Thee, and to keep this one from fixing all hope upon the adorning of the body. Adorn the soul with meekness and quietness, with faith and hope and love, which are ornaments unfading in Thy sight. If it be Thy will, bring healing to the body, ease to the eyes, and strength to the frame, but above all let Christ be formed within. Keep this precious soul from despair, teach patience under trial, and let the Sun of Righteousness rise with healing in His wings. We ask not by our decreeing, but by Thy grace, in the name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour. Amen.

Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you. Seek first the healing of the soul by faith in Christ, and continue to seek Him in His Word, for faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. He who has begun a good work will perfect it, and though infirmity and anxiety are not yet banished on earth, they shall be forever removed where He dwells. Look into the Saviour's breast, and there read mercy. Fear not, worm Jacob, for the Lord saith, I will help thee.
