We hear the urgency in your cry and we join with you right now lifting your whole face and skin before the Lord together in Jesus name. We know how distressing it can be to look in the mirror and feel burdened by marks, scars, dents and skin issues, and we want you to know that God sees you, He cares deeply about your pain, and He hears every prayer you bring to Him.
We are reminded of how wonderfully He has made you, for we read I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. Psalm 139:14. Even when we struggle with how we look, our value and beauty in His eyes is not diminished. He also reminds us Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing; but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. 1 Peter 3:3-4. This does not mean He does not care about our physical suffering, He does, but He wants us to know our deepest worth is in Him.
We also hear your fervent desire for immediate and complete healing, and we understand that longing. We serve a God who is able to heal, for we read For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 and But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5. We believe with you that nothing is impossible for Him. At the same time we gently encourage you to come before Him with humble trust in His perfect will and timing rather than demanding He must act instantly in the way we prescribe, for His ways are higher than ours and He works all things for good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28.
We also want to encourage you to bring your anxiety to Him and find His peace while you wait, as we read In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. He invites you to keep asking, seeking and trusting, and He may also use wise medical care and stewardship of your body as part of His provision for healing.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know every mark, every scar, every dent and every concern about their skin, You know the distress it has caused and the longing for it to be made smooth and whole. Lord we ask in Jesus name that You would touch their whole face and skin with Your healing hand according to Your mercy and will. If it be Your will, restore and renew their skin completely and permanently, and let Your healing power be displayed for Your glory. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon them, to calm their anxious heart, to remind them that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by You. Help them to trust in Your goodness and Your timing, to find their confidence not only in outward appearance but in the gentle and quiet spirit that is precious to You, and to walk in hope knowing You are working for their good. We thank You that we can come to You only through Jesus, and we rest in His name and His finished work on the cross. Let Your will be done in their life and let them feel Your presence and comfort today. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Your urgent and earnest cry has been heard and brought before the Lord with tender sympathy. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are painful and press us to seek a physician, and you have done well to bring your case to the great Physician Himself.
Be assured that there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture saith, The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Christ is healing. As it is said of the blessed man, His leaf also shall not wither. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and yonder in Heaven those faces which look so bright and comely, fresher than newborn babes, owe their freshness to these healing leaves.
Yet hear this gracious truth, that healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee. Pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen upon His people with healing in His wings. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and Jesus bears with Him power to heal. This is His honor and renown.
Therefore we entreat you to tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. Bring to Him not only the marks and scars and distress of the skin which so trouble you, but bring to Him your soul, that He may give you first forgiveness and then healing according to His perfect wisdom and love.
We pray for you now, that the Lord in His mercy would lay His hand upon you. O Lord our God, look upon this troubled and anxious heart. Thou knowest the sorrow caused by these infirmities of the body. If it be Thy will, touch and heal this skin and grant relief and comfort. Above all, grant the deeper healing of the soul, the washing away of sin, the peace of pardon through the blood of Christ, and the assurance that Thy salvation will perfectly heal our bodies in Thy good time, till we shall be without spot or wrinkle or any such thing. Help this dear soul to trust not in a form of words repeated, but in Thy living Son, and to rest in Thy wise and loving will, whether Thou seest fit to heal now or to sustain through trial for Thy glory. Your urgent and heartfelt prayer about your face and skin has been heard, and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with compassion.
God sees the distress this has caused you, and He is not distant from our bodily suffering. As the Gospel shows, when the crowds came to Jesus He first healed those who were lame and blind and afflicted in body, because He has compassion on the multitude. He cares for the body He created, and He is able to heal.
At the same time, Christ teaches us to look beyond the body alone. He once said to those who sought Him only because they had eaten and were filled, labor not for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life. This is not said to dismiss your pain, but to gently lift your heart higher. The Lord desires to heal not only skin, but the whole person, and above all to give you deep peace, hope, and life everlasting through faith in Jesus Christ.
So let us pray together not only for the outward healing you so earnestly desire, but for inward wholeness and trust in His perfect wisdom and timing, whether He chooses to heal suddenly, gradually through His providence and the means He has given, or to sustain you with grace while you wait.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You know every mark and every burden carried, and You know the longing for relief. Have mercy and lay Your healing hand upon this skin according to Your will. If it be Your good pleasure, bring restoration and wholeness. Grant peace to the heart, remove shame and anxiety, and help this soul to rest in Your love. Draw this heart ever closer to Jesus, that seeking Him first, all other needs may be entrusted to Your fatherly care. Your cry for healing is heard, and I understand how painful it is to look in the mirror and feel distressed about marks, scars and uneven texture on your face, and to want God to remove them all immediately.
God does care about physical needs. When Jesus walked on earth He never used His power to serve Himself, but He often used it with compassion to meet the physical needs of others. The Gospels show Him healing a leper, healing the servant of a centurion, healing Peter's mother in law, and then in the evening many sick and troubled people being brought to Him and being healed. Matthew connects that to the prophecy in Isaiah, surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sicknesses, showing that the suffering of Christ touches both spiritual and physical infirmity. His body was broken for us, and that truth is remembered when we share in communion. He has authority over the physical realm as well as the spiritual, and He is able to heal today. I believe strongly that God still heals.
At the same time Scripture does not teach that every prayer for physical healing is answered instantly or in exactly the way we ask. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be taken away, and God did not remove it but gave grace for another purpose. There are things about healing we do not fully understand, including why some are healed quickly and others are not. In the ministry of Jesus there is even one recorded case where healing came gradually rather than all at once, which reminds us that God sometimes works step by step.
Much healing that God does comes through processes He Himself built into our bodies. The natural repair and renewal that happens in skin and tissue is not less divine because it is natural. God created nature and the processes of nature, so a gradual restoration is still His work. There are different kinds of healing, physical, emotional and spiritual, and often God brings healing to the heart and mind, to the wounds of discouragement and self consciousness, even while the body is still in process.
It is also important not to look for healing in hype or frenzy. Scripture teaches that not everyone is given the same gifts, including gifts of healing, and the body of Christ has many members with different callings. Real healing does not come from being whipped into emotion, but from quiet trust in the Lord.
The Bible also shows a connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John wrote to Gaius that he wished him to prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was a loving wish, not a blanket promise that every illness will vanish, but it points to a real link. A merry heart does good like a medicine, and peace in the soul can help the body. For that reason the greatest need any of us has is the forgiveness of sins and a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. When that is settled, we can face every other need, whether physical or otherwise, with hope that is eternal. The spiritual is of greater and more lasting value than the physical, though the physical still matters to God.
So I encourage you to keep bringing your face and skin honestly to the Lord, asking for His mercy and healing, while also trusting His wisdom about how and when He will answer. Care for your body in wise and simple ways, including cleanliness and good stewardship of your health, which Scripture presents as important for well being, and seek sound medical counsel if needed, recognizing that God can work through those means as well. Nurture your inner life too through prayer, through His Word, and through remembering what Christ has done for you.
Let me pray for you. Father, in the name of Jesus I bring this dear one to You who is hurting over the condition of their skin. You see every mark and You know the distress it causes. You are compassionate and You have borne our infirmities. I ask that You would bring healing according to Your perfect will, whether instantly by Your touch or gradually through the healing processes You have placed in the body. Heal also any wounds of the heart, bring peace, comfort and confidence in Your love, and above all assure this heart of forgiveness and new life through Jesus. Help them to rest in Your care and to prosper in soul even as they seek health in body. Amen.
