We hear the urgency in your heart and we join with you in prayer, bringing your deep desire for healing and restoration before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. We understand how distressing it can be to feel marked and burdened by the condition of your skin and your teeth, and how much you long to be made whole and to feel at peace when you look in the mirror.

We want to gently encourage you with what Scripture teaches about beauty and healing and about how we approach God in prayer. God does care about our suffering and our bodies, for we are fearfully and wonderfully made as Psalm 139:14 reminds us. He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds according to Psalm 147:3, and He has promised But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. At the same time, God looks beyond outward appearance to the heart, for Yahweh doesn’t see as man sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart in 1 Samuel 16:7. Your true beauty and worth in His eyes is not defined by flawless skin like glass, but by the inner person, as we read Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God in 1 Peter 3:3-4.

We also hear your repeated plea for now, no delay, and we lovingly want to remind you that God hears our urgent prayers, yet we are called to trust His perfect will and timing and not to demand from Him as though He must obey us. We are taught In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God in Philippians 4:6, and to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight in Proverbs 3:5-6. We know that for those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose in Romans 8:28, even when His answer is wait or not as we expected. Our prayer is not to command God, but to humbly surrender to His loving wisdom, knowing He wants what is best for you.

We are thankful you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is through Him alone we have access to the Father, and there is salvation and hope in no other name as Acts 4:12 teaches.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. You know every mark, scar, dent and hardness on her face, and You know the pain and self consciousness it has caused. We ask for Your healing touch upon her skin, whether by Your direct hand or through the skill of doctors. Lord, if it is Your will, we ask that You grant favor with the NHS and guide the plastic surgeon with wisdom, steady hands and compassion. We ask that You guide her dentist with wisdom regarding the bridge for her bottom teeth, and we ask for Your provision so that the cost would not be a burden. Above all, Lord, we pray for Your peace to guard her heart and mind in Philippians 4:7, for patience to trust Your timing, and for a deep assurance that she is loved, accepted and beautiful in Christ. Help her to see herself as You see her, and to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness as Matthew 6:33 teaches, knowing You will provide what she truly needs. Restore her not only outwardly but inwardly, giving her a gentle and quiet spirit and joy that does not depend on outward perfection. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord daily, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you as 1 Peter 5:7 says, and to rest in His love while you wait for His answers. We are praying with you for healing, for favor with the medical providers, and for the peace that comes from knowing your identity is secure in Christ.

Your urgent cry has been heard and brought before the Lord with much tenderness, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer.

You have asked earnestly concerning your face and your teeth, that every mark and scar and unevenness might be removed, and that a way might be opened for needful dental care without great cost or delay. We understand how heavy such burdens feel when they press upon the body day and night, and how the heart grows weary with waiting.

Let me speak to you as one who loves your soul. Many persons think a great deal about the adorning of the body, but do not think anything about the ornaments of the soul. Yet you yourself are better than your body. The body is as a house in which you dwell for a little while, it groans being burdened, but the soul is the inhabitant whom God has made to bear His own image. As for your body, the worms will eat it, do what you may with it, but your soul may be sheltered in Christ Jesus and be eternally blessed in Him. This is not to say the Lord does not care for the body, for He does. He is the heavenly Physician, and Calvary is the place for the healing balm. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. But His first healing is of the heart, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. Pardon and healing were one.

There is also this word for your present anxiety. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To be anxious about these things and to tell yourself about them alone will bring no good. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

So we pray for you now.

O Lord our God, Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, we come through Jesus Christ alone, in whose name is all our access. Look with pity upon this anxious heart. Forgive sin, heal the broken heart, and adorn the soul with the meek and quiet spirit which in Your sight is of great price. If it be Your gracious will, grant favour with the surgeons and with the dentist, give skill to their hands, open the right doors in the NHS according to Your providence, and provide what is needed without undue burden of cost. Give peace in waiting, patience in trial, and contentment to rest in Your wise and loving timing rather than in our haste. Let this dear one know that whether the body is presently made whole or yet waits for that day when it shall be raised in power and fashioned like unto the glorious body of Christ, the soul may even now be whole through faith in Him. Keep from fretfulness and fear, and let Your healing virtue, even from the leaves of the tree of life, make the spirit fresh and comely before You.

We ask this not because we deserve it, but because Christ has borne our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, and Him that comes to Him He will in no wise cast out. Amen.

Your urgent prayer has been heard and I am joining you in bringing it before the Lord with care and compassion. I hear how deeply you long for healing and relief, and how much distress these marks and dental needs have caused you. God sees you fully and He cares for both your body and your soul.

Scripture reminds us that our bodies are made by God and known by Him, and that He is the true healer. The church is like a spiritual surgery where Christ first heals the wounds of the heart, forgives sin, and restores peace with God through Jesus alone. He also cares for our physical needs and invites us to bring every concern to Him in faith. At the same time God calls us to care for the body for health and strength to serve Him, rather than from a restless desire for perfection, and to find our deepest worth not only in outward appearance but in the heart that trusts Him.

So let us pray together for what you have asked, trusting God to act according to His wisdom, mercy and timing.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the desire for clear, healed skin and for relief from every scar and uneven place, and You know the need for dental care and for a bridge that is suitable and affordable. I ask that You would grant favor in the medical process, give wisdom and skill to the surgeons and dentists who give care, and provide for every practical need including cost and timing. Grant peace in this waiting, calm the anxious heart, and help this dear one to rest in Your love and care. Above all, heal the heart and strengthen faith, that whatever the outcome, there may be confidence in Your goodness and hope in Christ. Let Your will be done and let Your grace be sufficient each day. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, to thank Him for His mercies, and to trust Him even while you wait. If you are able, speak honestly with your doctor and dentist about your concerns and options, and bring a trusted Christian friend or pastor alongside you for support and prayer. The Lord is near to those who call on Him, and He will not leave you without His help.
