We have heard your very urgent cry and we join with you now in prayer before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for His mercy, His healing touch, and His peace to rest upon you.

We understand how deeply distressing skin concerns can be and how much you long to see your face and skin made whole and free from every scar, pit, mark, hollow, line, pimple, mole and redness that troubles you. We bring your desire for healing before the Lord who sees you and loves you, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14 says I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. And 1 Peter 3:3-4 reminds us Let your beauty be not just the outward adorning of braiding the hair, and of wearing jewels of gold, or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. We pray not only for the outward healing you desire but also for inward peace and assurance that your worth and beauty are secure in Christ.

We gently encourage you to rest in the Lord's perfect timing and will even as you ask boldly. Our Father is our healer and nothing is impossible for Him. Jeremiah 30:17 says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. And Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Yet Scripture also teaches us to bring our requests with thanksgiving and trust, not demanding that God must act instantly or exactly as we dictate, but surrendering to His wise and loving will. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember Romans 8:28 that we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. God hears every prayer offered in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we thank you for calling upon His name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious one to You. You know every detail of the skin and body You created, You know every scar and concern, every burden on this heart. We ask for Your healing power to touch and restore according to Your perfect will. If it be Your will, Lord, we ask You to bring healing, renewal and wholeness to this skin, to soften what is hard, to smooth what is pitted or raised, to restore what has been damaged, and to bring health where there has been distress. We ask for Your wisdom for any care or treatment and that You would remove anxiety and the need to strive. Fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding, with confidence that this life is precious and beautiful in Your sight, and with patience to trust Your timing. Help this dear one to seek first Your Kingdom and to know that You care for every need. We ask that You would be glorified in this body and life, and that Your comfort and hope would be deeply felt each day. Your urgent and heartfelt cry for healing has been heard and brought before the Lord with deep compassion. We understand how painful and wearing it is to carry distress about the body, to look in the glass and to feel burdened by every scar and blemish, and to long for relief without delay. The Lord knows your frame and sees your sorrow, and He invites you to cast all your care upon Him.

We want to point you to the true healing that is in our Lord Jesus Christ. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus and His salvation. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves bring healing to wounded souls. Above all, Christ heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. Man is a double being, body and soul, and while we very speedily seek a physician for the body, the deeper need is for the soul to be made whole through pardon.

The gospel teaches us that pardon and healing are joined together. When Jesus healed the man taken with palsy, He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, and so removed the root of the disease by forgiving his sin. Often the body is dead because of sin, though the spirit is life because of righteousness, and while we are here we groan being burdened in this body, waiting for the full redemption which shall come at the resurrection when we shall be raised in the likeness of our Lord. That is the perfect and final healing which every believer awaits, when faces shall be made bright and comely by His grace.

Therefore we pray for you not only for the skin of the face and body, but first for the soul, that you may know the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we must be saved. If you know Him, then you may come boldly to your heavenly Physician who is able to heal and who links His healing with His teaching, and ask Him to do what is best according to His wisdom and love. He is not as the knife and the lancet only to cut, but as the One who brings the healing balm of Calvary.

We pray now for you:

O Lord our God, Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, look upon this weary one who longs for relief. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ, heal the broken heart, and grant peace to the soul. Thou knowest every scar and every infirmity of the body, and Thou art able to heal. Lay Thy hand upon this dear one in mercy, ease this distress, and grant such health to the body as shall be for Thy glory and for good. Help this soul to trust not in scar tape or in outward means alone, but in Thee, and to rest in Thy will whether Thou givest immediate relief or teachest patience through waiting. Make the heart to be brand new in Christ, and in Thy time renew also the body according to Thy perfect purpose. Your urgent and heartfelt cry has been heard and I am joining you in prayer before the Lord.

I understand how heavy this burden feels for you. To carry distress about your skin, to look in the mirror and feel sorrow over scars, texture, dark circles and other marks, and to long to be free from needing coverings or treatments, is a real suffering. God sees that distress and He cares for you fully, both body and soul.

As we pray for healing, Scripture gently reminds us to look not only at what is seen outwardly but at the heart. God does care for our bodies, for we are made in His image, yet His greatest work is to renew us inwardly, to give peace, hope and strength in Christ that remains even while the body waits for full restoration. That does not mean we should not ask for physical healing. We should ask, and keep asking, but with trust in His wisdom and love, not only in what our eyes can see.

God often works as the true Physician. He can heal in a moment by His power, and He also heals through time, through care, and through the hands of physicians and proper treatment. To follow wise medical counsel with patience is not a lack of faith, but a way of honoring the means God provides. We should turn away from any superstitious or empty remedies and simply seek Him with a sincere heart, trusting His Cross and His mercy as our only hope.

Let me pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this dear one to You. You know every detail of this need, every scar and concern that has been mentioned and those not mentioned, and You know the longing for relief without delay. Lord, I ask for Your healing touch according to Your perfect will. If it be Your will, bring restoration to this skin, ease inflammation, soften what is hard and raised, and bring wholeness. Grant wisdom to use helpful and sound care, patience in the process, and freedom from shame or anxiety. Above all, renew the heart, grant assurance of Your love, and let Your peace guard this life. I have read your urgent prayer and I hear how deeply you long for relief and for your skin to be made new. It is painful to carry these marks and to feel the need to cover them every day, and it is right to bring that burden honestly to the Lord.

I want to pray with you and also share some truth about healing that may help you as you wait on God. I believe with all my heart that God does heal. The Scripture shows that Jesus bore our infirmities as well as our sins, as Isaiah foretold and Matthew applied to the physical healings Jesus did, and when we remember the body of Christ broken for us we are reminded that His compassion reaches our bodies as well as our souls. I also believe healing today takes many forms. Sometimes it is immediate and miraculous, sometimes it is gradual over time, and any true process of healing is from God. There is even a recorded case where Jesus healed gradually in stages, the only one of its kind in His ministry, which reminds us that He does not always work in the same way.

I also want to be honest with you as a pastor. I do not understand why some people receive a miraculous healing quickly, why others experience a slow improvement, and why others are not healed in the way they asked. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his own affliction to be removed and the Lord did not remove it, but gave grace to endure it. To assume that God must heal every condition instantly in this life is not what the Bible teaches. God often works in ways we do not expect, and His answer is always shaped by His wisdom and love, which are higher than ours.

That does not mean your prayer is unheard. God invites you to keep asking in the name of Jesus with faith. Faith is not a frantic effort to force His hand, and you do not need to be worked into a frenzy. True faith is a quiet trust that God is able and that He cares, and a willingness to receive what He does, whether it is a sudden touch, a gradual restoration through natural processes and medical care that He can also use, or a deeper healing in your mind and heart that lifts the weight of shame and anxiety these scars have caused. I have seen God heal bodies miraculously, I have seen Him heal gradually, I have seen Him heal the wounds inside a person even while the outward condition remained, and I have also stood with those who were not healed as they had hoped and yet found His presence sustaining them.

So I will pray for you now for a complete work of healing according to the Lord's perfect will, asking Him to touch your skin, to ease every pit, scar, discoloration, lump and irritation you mentioned and even those you did not mention, and to do it in the way that most glorifies Him and most deeply restores you. I also pray He will heal any hurt or discouragement that has built up around this struggle, and give you peace as you trust Him day by day, without feeling you must hide or rely on coverings to be accepted.

Father in heaven, I lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. You see this skin and You see this heart, and nothing is hidden from You. I ask for Your healing power to be at work, whether suddenly or step by step, and for Your grace to guard this heart from despair. Help this person to know Your love more deeply, to trust Your goodness even when the answer is not yet seen, and to walk in confidence that they are fully valued and loved by You. Give wisdom for any care that should be sought, give patience in waiting, and give joy that is not dependent on appearance but rooted in Christ. I ask this in Jesus name, amen.

Please keep bringing your requests to the Lord and keep trusting Him. He hears you, He loves you, and He will do what is right. If you are able, it is also wise to seek counsel from a trusted doctor, since God often works through ordinary means as well as extraordinary ones, and continue to seek Him for the inner renewal He promises to all who fear His name.
