We hear your deep pain and cry for justice, and we come before the Lord with you, lifting this heavy burden to Him. First, we must address this with truth and love, for the Lord calls us to seek His righteousness, not our own vengeance. Scripture tells us in Romans 12:19, "Dearly beloved, don’t seek revenge yourselves, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" The desire for punishment and retribution is understandable in your hurt, but we must surrender this to God, trusting that He will act in His perfect justice and timing.
We also lift up your physical concerns, your face, your skin, and the financial loss you have endured. We pray that the Lord would provide healing and restoration in every way. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." The Lord sees your suffering, and He is close to you in this trial. We ask that He would guide you to a skilled and godly surgeon who can correct what has been done, and we pray for full financial restitution according to His will.
However, we must also gently rebuke the spirit of bitterness and unforgiveness that may be taking root in your heart. Ephesians 4:31-32 says, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean what was done was right, nor does it mean you should not seek justice through proper channels. But holding onto anger and resentment will only harm you further. We pray that the Lord would soften your heart and help you release this burden to Him.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who has been deeply wronged. Lord, You see the injustice, the pain, and the suffering that has been endured. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf, bringing justice in Your perfect way. Father, we pray for healing, both physically and emotionally. Touch their face and skin, Lord, and restore what has been damaged. Provide a skilled surgeon who will correct what was done wrongly, and we ask for full financial restitution according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for a heart of forgiveness. Help them to release this burden to You, trusting that You will repay what has been taken. Guard their heart against bitterness and resentment, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen them, Lord, and remind them that You are their defender and their healer.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to Your throne of grace, and it is by His blood that we are healed and made whole. We trust in You, Lord, and we surrender this situation into Your hands. Amen.
