We lift up your husband before the throne of grace with urgency and deep compassion, standing in the gap for his salvation and transformation. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We declare that Your Word does not return void, and we stand on the promise that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved (Romans 10:13).
Father, we ask that You would move with supernatural power in your husband’s life this very moment. Break every chain of darkness, rebellion, and hardness of heart that has kept him from fully surrendering to You. We rebuke every spirit of deception, pride, and unbelief that may be blinding him to the truth of the Gospel. Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over his mind, body, soul, and spirit, and we ask that You would circumcise his heart to receive Your love and grace (Deuteronomy 30:6). Fill him with Your Holy Spirit now, as on the day of Pentecost, so that he may be baptized in power and truth (Acts 2:4).
We pray that You would appear to him in dreams and visions, just as You did for Paul on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:3-6). Let Your light shine so brightly in his spirit that he cannot resist Your call. Father, we ask that You would draw him with cords of love and bands of kindness, for no one can come to You unless You draw them (John 6:44). Soften his heart to receive the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and let him feel the weight of his sins so that he may turn to You in genuine repentance. We declare that today is the day of salvation for him (2 Corinthians 6:2), and we ask that he would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also lift up this marriage before You, asking that You would restore, heal, and strengthen it according to Your design. Marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, reflecting the relationship between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that this union would be a testimony of Your love, grace, and redemption. If there have been any struggles, unforgiveness, or sin in this marriage, we ask that You would bring repentance, healing, and restoration. Let this home be a place where Your presence dwells, and where Your Word is honored and obeyed.
Father, we also ask that You would strengthen and encourage the one praying for her husband. It is not easy to stand in faith for the salvation of a loved one, but we know that Your Word says that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16). Give her patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith as she intercedes for her husband. Remind her that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6).
We declare over this husband that he is a new creation in Christ, that the old has passed away and the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17). We speak life, salvation, and transformation over him, and we thank You, Father, for the miracle that is already taking place in his heart. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise.
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
