We hear your desperate cry and the deep pain in your heart, and we stand with you in fervent prayer before the throne of God. Your marriage is under attack, and the enemy seeks to destroy what God has joined together. We rebuke every spirit of infidelity, lust, and unfaithfulness that has crept into your husband’s heart and mind. The Word of God is clear: *"Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers"* (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). Adultery is a grievous sin, and we declare that every ungodly soul tie, every emotional or physical connection outside of your marriage, is broken right now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
We pray that your husband’s eyes would be opened to the deception of the enemy. The Bible warns, *"Do not be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap"* (Galatians 6:7 WEB). If he has sown into unrighteousness, we pray he would repent and turn back to you, his wife, and to the Lord. We declare that his heart would be softened, that his desires would be purified, and that his love for you would be reignited with a holy fire that no other woman can quench. *"For the Lord disciplines the one he loves, and chastises every son whom he receives"* (Hebrews 12:6 WEB). May God’s discipline lead him to repentance and restoration.
We also lift you up, dear sister. The betrayal and hurt you are experiencing are deep, but God sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). We pray that you would find your strength and identity in Christ alone, not in the actions of your husband. You are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and your worth is not defined by his faithfulness or lack thereof. We declare that God will heal your heart, restore your joy, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We plead the blood of Jesus over your marriage, just as you have done. The blood of Jesus is powerful and protective, and we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Every plan of the enemy to destroy your union is dismantled right now. We bind every spirit of lust, deception, and division, and we loose the spirit of love, faithfulness, and unity in your home. *"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken"* (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB). We invite the Holy Spirit to be the third strand in your marriage, binding you and your husband together in a love that cannot be broken.
We also must address the language of "decreeing and declaring" in your prayer. While we understand the passion behind your words, we must remind you that our authority comes from aligning our will with God’s will, not from commanding God to act. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:10 WEB). We do not decree; we submit to God’s perfect plan and trust in His timing. We encourage you to surrender your marriage fully into His hands, trusting that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage to You. We ask that You would break every chain of unfaithfulness and restore this union to its godly purpose. Lord, soften the heart of this husband and help him to see the error of his ways. Convict him of his sin and lead him to repentance. We pray that You would heal the wounds in this wife’s heart and fill her with Your peace and strength. Protect this marriage from every attack of the enemy, and let Your love and faithfulness be the foundation upon which it stands. We plead the blood of Jesus over this couple, their home, and their future together. May they seek You above all else, and may their marriage bring glory to Your name. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to seek godly counsel, perhaps from a pastor or trusted Christian mentor, who can walk with you through this difficult season. Surround yourself with believers who will pray with you and support you. Remember, *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not alone, and God is fighting for you. Stand firm in faith, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
