We join with you in lifting up this request, and we are grateful for your heart of thanksgiving before the Lord. It is wonderful to see you acknowledging God’s provision in your life, for every good and perfect gift comes from Him. However, we must gently address a few things to ensure our prayers align fully with Scripture and the heart of God.
First, while it is right to ask God for our needs—and even our desires—we must do so with a heart that submits to His will, not merely our own. Jesus taught us to pray, *"Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven"* (Matthew 6:9-10, WEB). Our prayers should reflect a trust in God’s sovereignty, knowing that He provides not just for our immediate wants, but for our eternal good. We are called to seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, and *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Prosperity is not an end in itself, but a means to glorify God, bless others, and advance His Kingdom.
Second, we notice that your prayer focuses heavily on financial increase—even specifying amounts like "thousands, millions." While God is certainly able to bless abundantly, we must be cautious not to treat Him as a means to our material gain. The love of money is a snare, and we are warned, *"But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows"* (1 Timothy 6:9-10, WEB). Let us instead pray for God’s wisdom in stewarding what we have, for contentment in all circumstances, and for hearts that are generous and open to His leading.
Lastly, we rejoice that you invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. We encourage you to always center your prayers on Christ, for apart from Him, we can do nothing (John 15:5).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for Your faithfulness and provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and all that we have comes from Your hand. We thank You for the savings and benefits our brother/sister has, and we ask that You grant them wisdom to steward these resources in a way that honors You. Lord, we pray that You would bless the work of their hands, not for the sake of greed or selfish ambition, but so that they may be a blessing to others and advance Your Kingdom. Give them a heart of contentment, knowing that true riches are found in Christ alone.
Father, if it is Your will, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for increase—whether through work, wise investments, or unexpected provision. But above all, we pray that their heart would remain fixed on You. Guard them from the love of money and the anxieties of this world. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or covetousness that may be at work, and we declare that You, Lord, are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking God’s face, not just His hand. Spend time in His Word, asking Him to align your desires with His. Remember that *"godliness with contentment is great gain"* (1 Timothy 6:6, WEB), and trust that He knows what is best for you. If you feel led, consider how you might use any increase He provides to bless others, support ministry, or meet needs in your community. May the Lord richly bless you as you walk in faith and obedience to Him.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
