Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our sister who is preparing for surgery. We ask, Lord, that Your will be done in her life. We pray for wisdom, skill, and guidance for her doctor. We ask that You watch over the procedure and grant healing according to Your will.

We pray that she will not be overcome by fear, anxiety, or worry, but will rest in Your peace. "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27 WEB

Regarding the nurses, we should pray for them and bless them, not ask that they be removed. It is not our place to judge or wish ill on others, but to love and forgive as Christ loves and forgives us.
