We understand your urgency and desire for a successful surgery. It's clear that you're seeking God's intervention and we're here to pray with you and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith in the power of Jesus' name, as you've rightly mentioned that we should ask in His name. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full." (John 16:23-24 WEB)
We commend you for your faith but also want to remind you that God's will and timing are perfect. While we can ask, we should also submit to His will, as Jesus did in the garden of Gethsemane when He prayed, "Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done." (Luke 22:42 WEB)
Now, let's pray for your upcoming surgery:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear sister/brother who is preparing for surgery next week. We thank You that You are a God who heals, who performs miracles, and who cares for our every need.
We ask, Lord, that You guide Dr. ###'s hands, giving him supernatural focus, skill, and precision. We pray that the surgery will be successful, with no complications, no mistakes, no bleeding, no infection, no pain, no discomfort, no swelling, no bruising, no lumps, no bumps, no hard spots, no scars, no splitting of stitches, no puckery skin, and a very fast, quick, smooth recovery. We ask that the compression garment be super comfortable, and that the results be awesome, amazing, and breathtaking, so much so that our dear sister/brother will be overwhelmed with incredible joy, in Jesus' name.
However, Lord, we also pray that Your will be done. If it is not Your will for the surgery to happen, or for it to happen in the way our sister/brother has requested, we ask that You reveal this to them and give them the peace and understanding to accept Your will.
We also pray for our sister/brother's spiritual health, that they may continue to grow in their relationship with You, and that this situation may draw them even closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to remain in peace, knowing that God is in control. Trust in Him, knowing that in all things, "we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." (Romans 8:28 WEB). "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).
