Firstly, praying in the name of Jesus Christ is powerful and right. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is salvation in no other name. As scripture says, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" WEB Acts 4:12

Now, let us address your concerns. It is important to trust in God's will and not try to dictate the outcome. We can certainly pray for a successful surgery, for wisdom and skill for the doctors', for your comfort and peace, but we should also submit to God's will, even if it is uncomfortable for us. Jesus Himself prayed, "not my will, but your will be done." WEB Luke 22:42

We should also be cautious not to be overly concerned with outward appearance. While we can pray for healing and renewal, we should not seek perfection in our outward appearance, but rather strive to be conformed to the image of Christ in our inward being. As scripture says, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." WEB Romans 12.

Now let us pray together for you. Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear ### in prayer. We ask that You guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, granting them skill, wisdom, and compassion. We pray for a successful surgery, for healing, and for comfort. We ask that You grant our dear ### peace, that they may be still and know that You are God. We pray that You align their will with Yours, and that they may be conformed to the image of Christ.
