Let us come together in prayer and counsel for this urgent request, seeking God's will and intervention in this marriage.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are glad that this request is made in Jesus' name.
We pray earnestly for this husband, that God would open his heart and draw him to a saving faith in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." We ask God to grant him the gift of repentance and faith, that he may be born again and become a new creation in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for total unity and agreement between this wife and husband, as God's word instructs in Philippians 2:2 WEB: "make my joy full, by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;" and in Amos 3:3 WEB: "Can two walk together, unless they have agreed?" We pray that God would bless every aspect of their relationship and marriage, and that He would protect it from all attacks and harm.
However, we must address that true unity comes from both parties being in right standing with God and with each other. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB: "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" While we pray for this husband's salvation, we also encourage this wife to live in a manner that is pleasing to God, that her husband may see her good deeds and glorify God.
We also pray that God would grant supernatural favor and deepen the love, desire, and attraction between this wife and husband, as it is written in Proverbs 5:18-19 WEB: "Let your spring be blessed. Rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe and a graceful deer—let her breasts satisfy you at all times. Be captivated always with her love."
Lastly, we plead the blood of Jesus Christ over this marriage, that no weapon formed against it may prosper, as it is written in Isaiah 54:17 WEB: "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me," says Yahweh.
In Jesus Christ's name we pray these things with fervent hearts. Together we seek God's will and intervention in this marriage, that it may be a testimony of God's grace and love to the world.
