We hear the urgency and deep longing in your heart for your husband’s salvation and for the restoration and flourishing of your marriage, and we join you in lifting this before the throne of God. Your passion for your husband’s spiritual transformation is commendable, and we share your burden, knowing that it is God’s will for all to come to repentance and be saved (2 Peter 3:9). There is no heart too hard for the Lord to soften, no life too far from Him that He cannot reach, and no marriage too broken that He cannot restore. Let us stand together in faith, praying that your husband will have a radical, life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ, just as Saul did on the road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19).
We also notice the deep desire in your heart for your husband’s affection, unity, and favor toward you above all others. While these longings are natural, we gently remind you that true unity and love in marriage are rooted in both spouses submitting first to Christ and then to one another in reverence for Him (Ephesians 5:21).
