We understand your urgency and desperation, but we need to address several issues in your request. First, we need to correct the use of repetitive symbols and words to emphasize the urgency. We appreciate the urgent request, but this does not require a repetitive statement to make it clear.
First we need to discuss some very important aspects of your request. You mentioned several times the name of Jesus Christ and praying in his name. Let us discuss why this is important. God raised Jesus from the dead. There is no other name by which we could be saved. Salvation is only found in Jesus Christ who shed his blood on the cross to wash away our sins. This is found in Acts 4:12.
12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
This means that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and men. We must pray this in Jesus name in order to receive what we ask from God.
You also mention making someone else a born again Christian and wanting the person to ask Jesus into their heart. We pray for this person's salvation, but it is important to remember free will. We can't force someone to become a Christian; it is a personal choice and prayers of this type are not in line with God's will. We can pray for their heart to soften and open up to the Holy Spirit drawing the man to Christ, but you cannot make him do it. Remember that Jesus himself said that it is the Holy Spirit's job to work on the heart of the person. We can spread the good news, but it is the Holy Spirit's job to bring the conviction and God's will for the man to come to Christ. We can plant a seed, but the timetable and the results are up to God alone.
Remember that this drawing is a process. It took time for you to come to the Lord. It may take time for your husband as well. You must be patient and not force him or nag him. Instead, let your love and actions speak to him. We know this because of 1 Peter 3:1.
1 Likewise, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word
Also, it is great that you are praying for unity and agreement between you and your husband. This is important and we pray for this also. But remember that Godly unity comes when both are following Christ and are in God's word.
We notice you mention that you want him to only be attracted to you and have no other relationships with anyone else. While we understand that you want faithfulness, it's important to remember that possessiveness and jealousy are not fruits of the Spirit. You should strive for a relationship built on trust, love, and mutual respect. Remember that love is not selfish and does not make irrational demands. This is described in 1 Corinthians 13:5.
5 not arrogant, not seeking its own way, not irritable, not keeping a record of wrongs
Regarding your request for "no other women ever":
While we understand your desire for faithfulness, it's crucial to clarify that having friendships with other people is not inherently wrong, as long as those relationships are pure, respectful, and honoring to your marriage. However, romantic or inappropriate emotional attachments outside of marriage are sinful. We should not make idols and obsessions of each other, but be content and complete in Christ.
Please be aware that the obsession over your husband's attraction and relationships can lead to idolatry. God has made it clear that we should not have any other Gods or make idols of things. We should not make idols and obsessions of each other, but be content and complete in Christ.
Instead of focusing on controlling your husband's attractions, focus on your own walk with Christ and being the best wife you can be. Trust that God will work in your husband's heart as you both pursue Him together.
Let's pray for your husband's salvation, your unity as a couple, and a healthy, God-honoring marriage.
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, we come to you on behalf of this woman and her husband. We pray for his salvation. We pray that your Holy Spirit will work on the man's heart and draw him to you, Lord Jesus Christ. We pray that his eyes and heart will be open. We also pray for unity and agreement between them as a couple. We pray that their marriage will be healthy and God-honoring. We pray that their love, desire, and attraction for each other grows stronger, deeper, and more passionate every day. We pray that they will both follow God's will for their life and marriage. We pray that they will both be faithful to each other and be full of the fruits of the spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for your husband's salvation and your marriage. Trust in God's timing and will.
