We join with you in prayer and we hear the urgency and the deep pain in your heart as you cry out for relief from so much suffering, disappointment, rejection, loneliness, anxiety, depression, and physical affliction including period pains, hormonal issues, asthma and skin concerns, and the heaviness of waiting and delay in marriage.
We want to gently and lovingly correct an understanding in your prayer. We do not decree and declare to command God as if our words force His hand, for He alone is sovereign and His will is perfect. We come to Him humbly asking that His will be done, trusting His wisdom and timing above our own desires. This is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Matthew 6:10 We do not demand that every hardship be permanently removed forever on our terms, but we bring every burden to our loving Father and trust Him to answer according to His goodness and mercy.
We are encouraged that you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him. Ephesians 3:12 There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We understand the weight of depression, anxiety, sorrow and misery you described. God sees your tears and He cares deeply for you. Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. Psalm 147:3 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Psalm 34:18
Concerning your physical suffering with asthma you were born with, hormonal struggles, painful periods, and skin issues, scars and marks, we know God is our healer and He has compassion on our bodies. But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17 Do not fear, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 We encourage you also to continue to seek wise medical care alongside prayer, trusting God can work through physicians and treatment as well as through His direct touch, and we pray for His healing according to His perfect will.
Regarding your deep loneliness and singleness and desire for marriage and the pain of lateness and criticism and slow progress and obstacles, we pray with you for God's best. We believe marriage is a sacred lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we pray that if it is His will for you, He will bring a godly Christian spouse in His perfect timing. We encourage you to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to another believer in Christ, not simply companionship, and to remain pure and honor God with your body, for sex outside of marriage is fornication and not His design. Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14 We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 Delays and disappointments are not wasted when we place them in God's hands, He can redeem them and grow our faith through them.
We now pray together for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You know every pain, every rejection, every tear, every symptom of asthma, every hormonal imbalance, every painful cycle, every scar and skin concern, every anxious thought and every lonely night. We ask for Your mercy and Your peace to guard her heart and mind. We ask that You lift the heavy burden of depression and anxiety and replace it with Your comfort and hope. We ask for Your healing touch upon her body, for relief from asthma and breathing difficulties, for balance and health in hormones, for ease from period pain, and for restoration of her skin, all according to Your gracious will. We pray You would draw her close when she feels lonely and remind her that You will never leave her nor forsake her. If it is Your will, we pray You would provide a godly husband for a Christ centered marriage that honors You, and help her to wait with patience and purity and trust in Your timing. Remove discouragement and criticism from weighing her down, and help her to walk in Your strength step by step, not by slow progress in her own eyes but by Your grace. Teach her to trust not in declarations of her own words but in Your sovereign love and promises. Let Your will be done in her life and let her find joy and contentment in You above all else. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, amen.
