We hear your heartfelt and urgent plea, and we come before the Lord together in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and we stand with you in faith, knowing that God hears the cries of His children. However, we must gently but firmly address the focus of your request, for while your passion is evident, the desire you express does not align with the heart of God as revealed in Scripture.
The Lord does not measure us by outward appearance, nor does He promise to make us the "most beautiful" or "most photogenic" in the world. In fact, Scripture warns us against such preoccupations. 1 Samuel 16:7 tells us, "But the Lord said to Samuel, 'Don’t look on his face, or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for I don’t see as man sees. For man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.'" Your worth is not found in how you compare to others or in the fleeting standards of beauty set by the world. Your value is found in Christ alone, who loved you so much that He gave His life for you.
We must also rebuke the spirit of comparison and pride that is evident in your decree to "outshine absolutely all every single girls, women, everywhere." This is not the heart of a follower of Christ. Philippians 2:3-4 instructs us, "Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others." The Lord calls us to humility, not to competition or self-exaltation. True beauty, as described in 1 Peter 3:3-4, is not about outward adornment but about "the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God."
We encourage you to shift your focus from outward appearance to the transformation of your heart. 2 Corinthians 4:16 reminds us, "Therefore we don’t faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day." The Lord desires to renew your mind, to fill you with His love, and to use you for His glory—not for the sake of worldly beauty, but for the sake of His kingdom. Romans 12:2 urges us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."
Let us pray together for you, that the Lord would fill you with a deep sense of your identity in Christ and a hunger for His righteousness:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear one who has cried out to You. Lord, we ask that You would open their eyes to see themselves as You see them—not through the lens of worldly beauty or comparison, but as Your beloved child, fearfully and wonderfully made. Help them to understand that their true beauty comes from a heart that seeks after You. Father, we rebuke the spirit of pride and vanity that seeks to exalt self above others. We ask that You would break any chains of insecurity, comparison, or worldly desire that may be binding them. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in humility, love, and a deep desire to glorify You in all things.
Lord, we pray that You would renew their mind and transform their heart. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all things—including their outward appearance—will be added unto them as You see fit. May they find their worth and identity in Christ alone, knowing that they are chosen, holy, and dearly loved by You. Father, we ask that You would give them a passion for the things that matter to You: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May they be a light in this world, reflecting Your love and grace to everyone they encounter.
We pray that You would guard their heart from the lies of the enemy, who seeks to distract them with the fleeting things of this world. Instead, draw them closer to You, that they may know You more deeply and walk in the purpose You have for them. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to spend time in God’s Word, allowing it to shape your desires and priorities. Meditate on passages like Psalm 139:14, which declares, "I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Let this truth sink deep into your heart—that you are wonderfully made, not for the approval of the world, but for the glory of God. Seek Him above all else, and He will direct your path.
