We hear your urgent cry and we join with you right now in prayer, lifting your hurt and burden before the Lord together in Jesus name. We understand the deep pain, insecurity and torment you feel about photographs, selfies, Snapchat and WhatsApp videos and calls, and the heaviness of wanting to delete what causes you distress and to be free from this sorrow permanently.

We want to gently remind you that our worth and security are not found in how we look in any photograph or video, but in who we are in Christ. You are fearfully and wonderfully made, created by God with love and purpose. Psalm 139:14 says we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and Psalm 34:18 tells us that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. The Lord sees your sadness and insecurity and He cares deeply for you. 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you.

You quoted the promise to ask and receive, and we rejoice that you called upon the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. John 14:6 says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and Acts 4:12 tells us there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. When we ask, we are taught to ask according to His will, trusting His perfect wisdom and timing. 1 John 5:14 says if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. Sometimes God does not remove every disappointment instantly, but He promises to give us peace and strength as we walk through it. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And Isaiah 41:10 says do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you.

We also want to encourage you with practical steps as we pray for lasting freedom from this torment. If there are images or videos that cause you distress and you have the ability to delete them from your own devices, we encourage you to do so. If others have taken them, it is right to set clear boundaries and ask them lovingly but firmly to delete anything that makes you uncomfortable, and to limit or step back from platforms like Snapchat or WhatsApp that increase your anxiety until you feel more secure. Guarding your heart and mind is biblical, and 2 Timothy 1:7 says God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. We encourage you to share this burden with a trusted pastor, counselor, or mature Christian believer who can walk with you and help you take every thought captive to Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, torment and insecurity that has been oppressing you, and we ask the Lord to break its hold and fill you with His perfect love, for perfect love casts out fear.

We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. You know every tear, every anxious thought, every photograph and video that has caused pain and insecurity. We ask You to pour out Your healing and Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this heart. Help this dear one to see themselves as You see them, precious, loved, and wonderfully made in Your image. Give strength to release what needs to be deleted and wisdom to set healthy boundaries. Put a permanent end to this cycle of hurt, sadness and torment, and let it never return, and in its place fill this life with Your joy, confidence and rest. Teach us to trust Your will when we ask, knowing You hear us and answer for our good. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus each day, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. We hear how urgent and heavy this feels for you, and how much pain these photographs and videos have brought. Wanting to delete images that make you feel insecure and wishing the hurt and disappointment would finally end is an understandable longing, and we are praying with you for relief.

When thoughts keep circling around the same images, it can leave you feeling tense, worn down and stuck in a loop of worry. That experience is exhausting, and you do not have to carry it alone. God sees the distress you are feeling right now and He cares about your peace.

One small step that sometimes helps is to create a little space from what triggers the spiral while you keep praying. If there are photos or videos on your own phone that you are able to remove, you might choose a calm, brief moment to do that. For anything on Snapchat or WhatsApp that feels out of your control, it can help to ask a trusted friend, family member or pastor to sit with you as you look at your privacy settings together, or to take a break from checking those apps for a day so your mind can rest.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. You know the sadness and insecurity that has weighed so heavily. Please bring Your calm where there has been torment, guard their heart and mind, and give wisdom for each next step. Remind them they are seen and deeply loved by You, and bring supportive people around them to walk with them. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your urgent and heartfelt cry has been heard, and we join with you in bringing it before the throne of grace. The Lord knows the torment and insecurity that has pressed upon your spirit concerning these photographs and videos, and He understands the sadness and sorrow that keeps returning.

The Saviour Himself said, Neither be ye of a doubtful mind, and we are reminded that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Your anxiety is not hidden from Him. What you feel within, your heart and soul and spirit, is of far more concern to Him than any outward image. Man looks upon the outward appearance, but the Lord looks upon the heart, and He values you not by any picture taken of you, but as one made in His image and loved by Him.

Scripture tells us, He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. There is healing for the wounded, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together. He who forgives sin also heals the sickness of the soul, and He can change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

We pray for you now that the Lord would grant you that healing and peace which comes from His pardoning hand.

Our Father in heaven, we bring this burdened one before Thee in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone is salvation. Thou seest the hurt and pain and disappointment that has been caused by these images, and the insecurity that lingers. We ask Thee to forgive sin, to heal the broken heart, and to quiet the doubtful and anxious mind. Let this dear soul know that to be in Christ is to be cleansed and made whole, and that perfect love casteth out fear. Grant a settled peace, a mind stayed upon Thee, and deliverance from this torment. Help to look not upon the outward image with distress, but to find identity and rest in Christ, and to know that those who come to Him He will in no wise cast out. Give wisdom in all practical steps, and above all give the inward healing that only Thou canst give, that there may be no more need to say, I am sick, but rather to rejoice in Thy healing and pardon. Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and I join you in lifting it to Him with compassion for the deep distress you have expressed.

I hear how much pain and insecurity these photographs and videos have caused you, and how weary you are of sadness, sorrow and torment over them. It is right to bring this burden to God, for He sees what troubles the heart and He cares for you with great tenderness. As we learn from Peter, even when anxiety presses hard and crowds out our peace, the Lord who was Himself bound still looked upon His disciple and raised him up and led him to tears that bring healing. So He looks upon you now, not to condemn but to lift and restore.

I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son through whom alone we have salvation and access to Your mercy, hear this cry. You know the hurt and the insecurity that weighs on this heart. Grant relief from the torment and the constant fear, and bring a lasting peace that guards mind and heart. Help to cast every anxiety upon You, because You care, and to trust not in our own strength but to commit all things into Your hands. Teach what is truly needful, to labor not for what perishes and fades, but for that which endures to eternal life, and to find security not in images but in being made and loved by You and hidden in Christ.
