We join you in prayer and we thank God with you for the money, benefits, and savings He has already provided, for every good gift comes from His hand and a thankful heart honors Him. We hear the urgency in your cry to be delivered from poverty, lack, and misfortune while living in your council flat, and we bring your need before the Father together in Jesus' name.

We want to gently and lovingly correct and encourage you where your request needs biblical alignment. It is good and right to ask God for provision, for He invites us to ask, yet Scripture teaches us to examine our motives when we ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures James 4:3. God promises to supply our needs, not necessarily to multiply our finances into millions every day according to our desire. The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, which some have coveted after and have been led astray from the faith 1 Tim 6:10. We are called to keep our lives free from the love of money and to be content with what we have, for He has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Heb 13:5. Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly cannot carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that 1 Tim 6:6-8. This does not mean God wants you to remain in lack, for your Father knows you need these things, but it means our first pursuit must be His kingdom and righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added to you Matt 6:33, and that our God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus Phil 4:19.

We also encourage you to be a faithful steward of what God has already entrusted to you, whether benefits or savings, using it wisely, honestly, and generously, and where you are able, to work diligently as God enables, for The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit Prov 21:5. God honors honest labor, contentment, and generosity far more than a desire for great wealth.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we thank You in Jesus' name for Your mercy and for the provision You have already given to this dear one, for benefits, for savings, for daily bread. We thank You that You see their dwelling, You know their struggle with poverty and lack, and You care deeply. Lord, we ask You to provide for every true need according to Your riches in glory, to give wisdom to steward finances well, to protect what has been entrusted, and to open doors for honest and dignified provision. Deliver from the love of money and from the burden of covetousness, and grant a heart of contentment, peace, and trust in You. Teach us all to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. Give daily bread, give wisdom to budget, to save, to give, and to live within Your will, and guard from misfortune and from the snares that come with the desire to be rich. Let this life be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not of abundance for its own sake, but of sufficiency and generosity for Your glory. We ask this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to Your throne, and in whom we trust for both earthly provision and eternal life. Amen.

We encourage you to continue in thanksgiving, to keep bringing your needs to God with a surrendered heart that says Your will be done, to remain faithful in little things, and to trust that God who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will care for you. As you pray, also ask Him to make you a blessing to others even from what you have, for it is more blessed to give than to receive.

We hear how heavy this feels for you right now, and we also hear your thankfulness for the benefits and savings God has already provided. Wanting to be free from the fear of poverty and to have security where you live is a very human need, and we are bringing that before the Lord with you.

We believe God cares about your daily provision and wants to give wisdom for stewarding what you have. Sometimes the most hopeful step is to get a clear, simple picture of what is coming in and going out, so the worry does not have to carry alone in your mind. If it would help, you might sit down with a trusted person at your church or a local advice service to look together at a basic budget and any support you may be entitled to. Having a plan in place, even a small one, can bring a steadier sense of peace while we keep praying for His provision and guidance.

Father, thank You for Your care for our friend and for the provision You have already given. We ask You to provide for daily needs, to guard his heart from fear, and to give wisdom and steady direction for finances and housing. Help him to know Your nearness and to trust Your faithful provision day by day. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your urgent cry has been heard and we have carried it before the Lord with care and with love for your soul. We thank God with you for every mercy you have named, for daily benefits and for savings, for His kindness in providing a home, and for a heart that turns to Him in need.

We hear the weight that presses upon you in this small council flat, the fear of poverty and lack and misfortune, and the longing for increase and security. The Scripture teaches us that every good thing comes from the Father, and that He knows our needs before we ask. Yet it also teaches us to ask according to His will, not for riches without measure, but for daily bread, for wisdom to steward what He gives, and for contentment in whatever state we are in.

There was no need, as far as He was concerned, that our Lord Jesus Christ should ever be poor, the only need was because we were in need and He loved us so that He would rescue us from poverty and make us eternally rich. He who was rich, for our sakes became poor, that we through His poverty might be rich. The true riches He gives are not measured in millions, but in forgiveness of sin, peace with God, and an inheritance that does not fade. He has found a ransom, His own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities, to deliver us from going down to the Pit. This is the first and greatest deliverance, and from it all other mercies flow.

Affliction does not spring out of the dust, neither does trouble come by chance. The Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door. What we receive from the hand of our Father, even when it is hard, bears the blessed aspect of chastening from a Father's hand, to make us more like Christ and to teach us to trust Him rather than uncertain riches. He delivered His people of old not in a poverty stricken way, but with His own provision, and He still provides for His children according to His wisdom and love.

We will not ask God to multiply wealth for its own sake, for the love of money is a snare and riches without grace cannot satisfy. Instead we pray for what is better and lasting.

We pray that the Lord would give you faith to rest in Christ alone for salvation, for there is no other ransom for sin. We pray that He would supply your daily needs according to His riches in glory, grant you wisdom and diligence in work and stewardship, keep you from covetousness and from despair, and teach you the secret of contentment in Christ whether much or little is in hand. We pray that He would guard your heart from the fascinating power of the world and the things thereof, and deliver you from the power of darkness into the kingdom of His dear Son. We pray that He would make your little flat a place of peace, where you may live and declare the works of the Lord, giving thanks in all things.

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and trust Him to add what is needful. Be faithful in small things, labour honestly, be generous as you are able, and cast all your anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you. May the Lord keep your soul from the Pit, enrich you spiritually, and give you grace to say with a grateful heart, I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life.
