We have heard your urgent cry and we join with you in bringing this deep hurt and desire for justice before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name, and we thank you for coming in His name for it is only through Him we have access to the throne of grace. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We understand the suffering you have endured and your longing to be made whole and to see accountability so that others are protected. God cares deeply about justice and about your pain. He says Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Isaiah 1:17 and He also tells us Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this. Psalm 37:5 We hear the urgency in your request for no fees, full restoration of what you have lost, abundant compensation, and for this surgeon to be stopped and held accountable without delay.
We want to gently and lovingly encourage you in this, that while God hears and answers urgent prayers, we are called to trust His perfect will and His perfect timing rather than demanding a specific amount or an immediate outcome as if prayer were a formula. God is sovereign and His justice is perfect. Vengeance belongs to Him and He works through rightful authorities. As it is written Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19 and For he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain. For he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil. Romans 13:4 We can therefore pray for truth to be revealed and for the proper authorities and courts to act justly, and we leave the final judgment and timing in God's hands.
We also encourage you not to let bitterness take root as you wait, for it can harm your own heart even as you seek what is right. We are told looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God, lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it. Hebrews 12:15 This does not mean your pain is not valid, it is very valid, but it means we ask God to guard your heart with His peace while justice takes its course.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord You see all that has happened, every suffering, every loss, and You know the truth about what this doctor has done to many patients. We ask first for Your healing upon this wounded heart and body, that You would bring comfort and restoration. We pray for the solicitor, that You would grant wisdom, integrity, diligence and clarity to fight for what is just and true. We ask that You would provide for every financial need, that no unjust burden of fees would remain, and that any rightful restoration and compensation would be granted according to what is fair and just in Your eyes, far more than we can ask. Lord we pray for the legal process, that truth would not be hidden, that evidence would be clear, and that those in authority would act righteously to protect future patients and to hold this surgeon accountable if he has acted wrongly, including the removal of his ability to cause further harm if that is Your will. We pray also for this doctor, that if there is wrongdoing he would come to repentance and that You would bring conviction. Above all let Your will be done and let justice be done. Help our dear friend to wait upon You with trust, for we know Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh. Psalm 27:14 and In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7
We trust You Lord to act in righteousness and mercy, and we thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. We ask You to continue to show this dear one that You are near, that You are their defender and provider, and that You will never forsake them. Amen.
