We hear your desperate cry for healing and restoration, and we join you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. The Lord is near to those who are brokenhearted and crushed in spirit, and He hears the prayers of His children. Let us first address your heart with the truth of God’s Word, for it is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
Your request is filled with urgency and a deep longing for physical healing, and we affirm that our God is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). However, we must also remind you that healing comes from the Lord, and it is His will that we seek above all else. While we pray for your physical restoration, we must also surrender to His perfect plan, trusting that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9). The Lord may choose to heal you instantly, gradually, or in ways you do not expect, but we know that His grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also want to gently address the tone of your request. While it is right to cry out to God in your distress, we must remember that our prayers should be offered with humility and trust, not with demands or a spirit of entitlement. The Lord is not a genie who grants our every wish, but a loving Father who knows what is best for us. Let us approach Him with reverence, acknowledging His sovereignty and goodness, even in the midst of our suffering.
Now, let us pray together in faith, trusting that the Lord hears and answers the prayers of His people.
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear child of Yours who is in desperate need of Your healing touch. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who heals. We ask that You would stretch out Your hand and touch every part of their body that is afflicted. Remove all fat, bloatedness, and dryness from their eyes, as they have asked, and restore their health according to Your will. Heal their lungs and airways, Lord, and remove every symptom of asthma. Banish fatigue, tiredness, and exhaustion from their body, and fill them with Your strength and vitality.
Father, we know that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We trust in Your power to heal, but we also trust in Your wisdom to know what is best. If it is Your will, Lord, bring complete and permanent healing to their body. If it is not Your will, give them the grace to endure and the faith to trust in Your goodness.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. Draw them closer to You in this time of need. Help them to seek Your face, not just Your hand. May they find their strength in You, and may their faith grow as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. We declare that by His stripes, this child of God is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and health over their body, their eyes, their lungs, and every part of them that is weak or afflicted. We command every symptom to leave and never return, in the mighty name of Jesus.
Father, we thank You for the privilege of coming before Your throne. We thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your faithfulness. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen this dear one, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the name by which we are saved and healed. Amen.
Now, dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The Lord is your healer, and He has not forgotten you. Even when the road is long and the burden feels heavy, He is with you. Cling to His promises, for they are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). Spend time in His Word, meditating on His goodness and faithfulness. Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray for you and encourage you in your faith.
Remember, too, that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20). While we pray for healing, let us also honor God with our bodies by eating nourishing foods, resting when we can, and trusting Him to provide the strength we need each day. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that salvation and healing come only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Him with all your heart. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.
May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May He turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in your faith, and trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).
