It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His grace alone that we are saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). We encourage you to reflect on whether your relationship is rooted in Christ and aligned with His Word. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If this relationship is not pursuing marriage within these biblical boundaries, we must gently rebuke any intentions that do not honor God’s design.
The desire to look beautiful and to foster attraction is natural, but we must ensure our hearts are seeking first God’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). True beauty comes from a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God’s sight (1 Peter 3:3-4). While we can pray for confidence and favor, we must guard against vanity or placing undue emphasis on outward appearance over inner character. Additionally, the request for "loads of physical affection" must be examined in light of Scripture. The Bible warns against sexual immorality and calls us to flee from it (1 Corinthians 6:18). If this relationship is not in Your will, we ask that You would make that clear and give them the strength to walk away for Your glory.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of lust, impatience, or idolatry that may be at work in this situation. We declare that this relationship must honor You in every way, and we pray for Your protection over their hearts and minds.
