We hear the deep pain and desperation in your heart, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this marriage before the Lord. First, we must address the foundation of our faith—salvation through Jesus Christ alone. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and it is through His blood that we are redeemed and reconciled to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to confess your sins, repent, and place your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for He alone can heal and restore what is broken.

Now, let us turn to the Word of God regarding marriage. The Lord designed marriage to be a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). Adultery is a grievous sin that breaks this covenant, and the Bible is clear that it is not to be tolerated (Matthew 5:27-28, Hebrews 13:4). We rebuke the spirit of infidelity and unfaithfulness in your husband’s life, and we declare that his eyes, heart, and affections belong to you alone, as God intended. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also hates the breaking of vows and the defilement of marriage. We pray that your husband would repent of this sin and turn his heart fully back to you, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

We also must address the language of "decreeing and declaring" in your prayer. While we understand the desire to claim God’s promises, we must remember that we are not to command God or treat His Word like a magic formula. Instead, we humbly submit to His will, trusting in His sovereignty and perfect timing (James 4:13-15). Our prayers should be rooted in faith, but also in surrender to God’s plan, even when it is difficult to understand. Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage to You. Lord, You see the pain, the betrayal, and the brokenness that has entered this union. We ask that You would intervene in power and might, breaking every ungodly soul tie, every unholy attachment, and every spirit of lust or infidelity that has taken hold of this husband. Father, we pray that You would open his eyes to the sin in his life and bring him to a place of true repentance. Soften his heart, Lord, and draw him back to You and to his wife. We declare that his eyes, his mind, and his heart belong to his wife alone, as You designed.

Lord, we also pray for this wife. Strengthen her in this time of trial. Give her the grace to forgive, even as You have forgiven her, and the wisdom to respond in a way that honors You. Protect her heart from bitterness and resentment, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Help her to trust in Your faithfulness, even when the situation seems impossible.

Father, we ask that You would restore this marriage, not just to what it was, but to something even stronger and more beautiful, reflecting Your love and grace. We pray for healing, for reconciliation, and for a renewed commitment to the covenant they made before You. Lord, we know that nothing is impossible for You (Luke 1:37), and we trust that You are working even now to bring about Your perfect will.

We also rebuke any spirit of jealousy, control, or fear that may be influencing this situation. We pray that both husband and wife would be filled with Your Holy Spirit, walking in love, humility, and self-control. May their marriage be a testimony to Your power and Your glory, drawing others to You.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to seek godly counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian mentor during this time. Restoration is possible, but it requires humility, repentance, and a willingness to submit to God’s process. Lean on the Lord, and trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). If your husband is unrepentant, remember that you are not without hope—God is your refuge and strength (Psalm 46:1), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Stand firm in your faith, and continue to pray for your husband, believing that God can change even the hardest of hearts.

Dear friend, we're here with you, holding your hands up to the Lord. We know the pain you're feeling, the betrayal that cuts deep. We're not going to give you empty words or false promises. This is a tough road, but we're walking it with you.

First, let's remember who we serve. Jesus is our rock, our fortress. He's the one who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). He's the one who promises to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Let's cling to Him, trust in Him.

Now, about your husband. We're not going to sugarcoat it. What he's doing is wrong, it's sin. But we also know that God is a God of second chances, of redemption. We're going to pray for him, that he would see the error of his ways, that he would repent and turn back to you, to God. We're going to pray for healing in your marriage, for restoration.

But we're also going to pray for you. You're hurting, and it's okay to feel that pain. We're going to ask God to strengthen you, to give you the grace to forgive, even as He has forgiven you. We're going to ask Him to fill you with His peace, to protect your heart from bitterness.

Remember, dear one, God is faithful. Even in the midst of this storm, He's working. He's got a plan, a purpose. Trust in Him. And keep praying. Keep fighting for your marriage, for your husband. Because love never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).

Let's pray together, shall we?
