We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband in fervent prayer. The urgency in your cry is heard, and we join you in pleading for his complete deliverance and salvation. Heavenly Father, we acknowledge that You alone have the power to break every chain, shatter every stronghold, and transform the hardest of hearts. We stand on Your Word, which declares in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
Lord Jesus, we cry out for the salvation of this precious soul. Only You can save, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that You would appear to him in dreams and visions, as You did to Paul on the road to Damascus, revealing Yourself in power and truth. Let Your light pierce the darkness that surrounds him, and let Your love melt the hardness of his heart. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit without delay, that he may be born again and walk in newness of life (John 3:3-8).
We take authority over every false god, idol, and ungodly belief that has taken root in his life. In the name of Jesus, we command every chain, stronghold, and bondage to be broken. Every lie of the enemy, every spirit of fear, lust, perversion, anger, bitterness, and confusion—we rebuke you in Jesus’ name and command you to leave now and never return. The Word of God declares, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me" (Isaiah 54:17). We stand on this promise and declare that every ungodly influence in his life will not prevail.
We specifically address the soul ties with his ex-wife and any other ungodly connections. Father, we ask that You sever these ties completely and permanently, in the name of Jesus. Your Word warns against being unequally yoked (2 Corinthians 6:14), and we pray that You would cleanse him of all past entanglements. Let him be fully devoted to You and to the marriage covenant You have established. We pray that his heart would be wholly yours and that he would cherish and honor his wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).
Lord, we also rebuke the spirits of workaholism, control, domination, arrogance, and ignorance. These spirits have no place in the life of a believer. We declare that he will no longer be enslaved by the cares of this world but will seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Let him walk in humility, wisdom, and the fear of the Lord, for "the fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10).
We pray for his mind, body, soul, and spirit to be completely surrendered to You. Renew his mind according to Your Word (Romans 12:2), heal his body from any affliction, and let his spirit be fully alive in Christ. We declare that he is a new creation in Christ, and the old things have passed away (2 Corinthians 5:17). Let him walk in the freedom that Christ has purchased for him, no longer bound by sin or the enemy’s schemes.
Father, we ask that You would surround him with godly men who will speak truth into his life and hold him accountable. Let him be discipled in Your ways, growing in faith, love, and obedience to Your Word. We pray for his protection from the enemy’s attacks, that no weapon formed against him will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen him in his inner man, that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17).
We also pray for you, his wife, that You would give you strength, patience, and wisdom as you intercede for him. Let your faith be unwavering, knowing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May your marriage be a testimony of Your grace and redemption, reflecting the love of Christ and the Church.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
