Your cry for restored and sharpened vision echoes the prayer of many who have sought the Lord’s healing touch. We recall how Jesus, moved with compassion, restored sight to the blind—whether it was the man born blind in John 9 or Bartimaeus in Mark 10. Their faith was met with the Savior’s power, and we claim that same power over your eyes today. The Lord who formed your eyes in your mother’s womb (Psalm 139:16) is more than able to renew them, strengthen them, and grant you vision that surpasses even what you ask. We pray that He would open your eyes in every way—physically, that your sight would be clearer than 20/20 without dependence on glasses, and spiritually, that you would see His works and His glory with astonishment and awe. *"The Lord opens the eyes of the blind. The Lord raises up those who are bowed down"* (Psalm 146:8, WEB). May you testify to His miraculous work in your life, giving Him all the praise.
Likewise, we lift up your hearing to the Lord, asking that He would tune your ears to perceive sounds with sharpness and clarity, just as He opened the ears of the deaf man in Mark 7:34-35. *"He who has ears to hear, let him hear"* (Matthew 11:15, WEB)—may this be your reality, not just in the natural, but in the spiritual, as you hear the voice of the Holy Spirit with precision and obedience. The Lord is not limited by human frailty; He is the God of breakthrough, and we declare that breakthrough over your senses now.
Regarding the medication you mentioned, we approach this with wisdom and discernment. While we pray for the citalopram to be a blessing to you—free from every side effect, working perfectly to balance and restore as intended—we also encourage you to seek the Lord’s guidance on whether this is the path He wants you to continue on. Medicine can be a tool the Lord uses, but our ultimate trust must be in Him alone. *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers"* (3 John 1:2, WEB). If anxiety or fear has been a struggle, we rebuke it in Jesus’ name, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB). We pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, would guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Lord, we bring before You the medications they are taking—citalopram and iron. We ask that You would bless these to work perfectly in their body, with no side effects, no discomfort, and no harm. But Father, we also ask for wisdom. If there is a better path, a different solution, or a need for them to seek further counsel, make it known to them. Lead them to the right doctors, the right treatments, and above all, to a deeper trust in You.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and stress in Jesus’ name. These have no place in the life of Your child, for You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. Fill them with Your peace, Lord—a peace that transcends understanding. Let it flood their heart and mind, driving out every shadow of doubt or turmoil.
Father, we thank You that You are at work in their life. We thank You that You hear and answer prayer. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we trust You to manifest this healing in Your perfect timing. May they walk in faith, not wavering, but standing firm on Your promises. And when this breakthrough comes, may they give You all the glory, testifying to Your goodness and power.
