The Bible tells us that *"the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds"* (2 Corinthians 10:4, WEB). We must wage this battle not with our own strength, but by the power of the Holy Spirit and the blood of Jesus. *"If the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed"* (John 8:36, WEB).
We also note your deep desire for your husband to love you with a passion and devotion that surpasses anything he has known. While this longing is understandable, we must remind you that true love—*agape* love—is not merely an emotion but a choice rooted in Christ. *"Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it"* (Ephesians 5:25, WEB). Your role as his wife is to pray for him, submit to Christ in all things, and walk in love and purity, trusting God to work in his heart. *"Wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, as to the Lord"* (Ephesians 5:22, WEB). Remove every distraction—his motorcycle, his phone, social media—anything that has taken his focus away from You and from his marriage. Let him be consumed with a holy passion for You, Lord, and a godly love for his wife that reflects Your love for the Church.
Father, we ask that You would make this wife a vessel of Your light, joy, and peace. Clothe her in Your strength and comfort, and let her be a godly example of Your love. Let her marriage be a testament to Your faithfulness, Lord. Bring total unity between them—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
