We understand your urgency and desire for healing, and we join you in prayer to seek God's will for your situation. We are reminded of the scripture that tells us "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you", and that "...the effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." (Matthew 7:7 / James 5:16 WEB).
Firstly, we thank you for ending your prayer 'In Jesus Christ name'. For, "...there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12 WEB)
As a group, we want to encourage you to continue to seek healing from the Lord and ask that you also consider the trials that Paul had. He prayed three times for the Lord to remove his thorn in the flesh, but Jesus' response was, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). Paul was left to conclude that, "...most gladly... I will rather boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong." (2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB).
We are praying for you to remember that God is aware of your pain and suffering, and that through your weakness He can be strong. This may not mean that God will heal you as you desire, but that He will be with you in your suffering and that you can be a witness for Him in your pain.
Dear Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that Your will be done in their life regarding their healing. We pray that You remove all swelling, redness, tightness, and every informity in their face, neck, skin, ears, and earlobes from surgery. We ask that You heal their whole body and lungs, and let all dissolving stitches in their face dissolve right now. Perform miracles and wonders of healing in their whole body, and may Your healing exceed all of our expectations, prayers, and desires. We thank You for the trials that You allow in our lives, and we pray that through their weakness, You will be shown to be strong. We pray this all in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
If your surgery was for vanity and not of medical necessity, we would remind you of 1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight."
