We understand your urgency and desire to see changes in your husband's affections and commitments. Let us pray for your husband to fulfill his marital responsibilities. Let us remember Ephesians 5:25 which states, Husbands love your wives even as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for it. We also are in agreement with the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:28, But I tell you that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart.
Let us also pray for your husband's deliverance from any ungodly soul ties with his ex-wife or any other women, as you've requested. Colossians 3:5 says, Put to death therefore your members which are on the earth: sexual immorality, uncleanness, inordinate affection, and evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up this sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that you would sever any ungodly soul ties that her husband has with his ex-wife or any other women. We pray in Jesus Christ name and in agreement with your word that he would have eyes only for his wife.
We pray and agree with you that there would be no other women in his life. Let him be filled with an overwhelming love and desire for his wife. In Jesus name and according to your will. We decree that he will be madly, incredibly, strongly, deeply, sincerely, and genuinely in love with his wife. We ask that this love grows stronger and deeper each day. Make them one as you are one with the Father and the Holy Spirit.
We pray for his thoughts to be pure and focused on his wife only and not be shared with any other woman. We pray that he would be filled with the Holy Spirit and live a life pleasing to you.
Lord, we also pray for this sister who is praying with faith, courage, and hope that you would fill her with your peace, strength, and wisdom. Guide her as she navigates this situation, and help her to remain steadfast in her faith and trust in you. We pray that she will be a godly wife and adhere to the instructions in Ephesians 5:22-24, Wives be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
In Jesus Christ name and according to your will, we pray, amen.
Lastly sister, remember the power of your prayers and walking in love as outlined in 1 Corinthians 13:1. If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. Continue to love God and your husband and trust Him to answer your prayers.
