We understand your urgent request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and comfort as you face your surgery. Firstly, we want to commend you for ending your request acknowledging Jesus Christ. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father.
In times of trouble, God promises to be our refuge and strength, an ever-present help. Let's hold firmly onto Psalm 46:1-3 (WEB):
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we won’t be afraid,
though the earth changes,
though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas;
though its waters roar and are troubled,
though the mountains tremble with their swelling.
Selah.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is facing surgery tomorrow. We know that You are the Great Physician, and that Your love and care for us are unfailing.
Father, we ask that You remove all fear, worry, and anxiety from their heart and mind. Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Grant them power, peace, a sound mind, incredible calmness, courage, and boldness as they prepare for and undergo this surgery. Settle their whole body and stomach. Help them to go through the procedure with confidence and in assurance of Your presence. Guide the hands of the medical professionals, and let this surgery be a success. Let their body heal quickly and become even stronger.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of need, cling to God's promises and trust in His goodness. Remember that He cares for you and that He is always with you. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
We are here with you in spirit, praying and believing for a successful surgery and a quick recovery. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). Trust in God's plan for your life.
