We join you in fervent prayer, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over your marriage and your husband. We stand in agreement with you, asking the Lord to make your husband a born-again Christian, melt his heart towards you and to make you both united in Jesus Christ. It is so important that this be his own decision to follow Jesus Christ rather than something that you can make happen. Pray that God would put people and circumstances in his life that will lead him to make a decision to become a Christian.

As we pray, let's remember what is written in 1 Corinthians 7:12-16 WEB:

But to the rest I, not the Lord, say, if any brother has an unbelieving wife, and she is content to live with him, let him not leave her. The woman who has an unbelieving husband, and he is content to live with her, let her not leave her husband. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified in the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified in the husband. Otherwise your children would be unclean, but now they are holy. Yet if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace. For how do you know, wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, husband, whether you will save your wife?

We need to remember God's promise to us in 2 Peter 3:9 (WEB):

The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Let us come in agreement with Jesus as we pray:

Father, we come before You in unity, pleading the blood of Jesus Christ over this entire situation. We ask that You would draw this husband to You. Work in his heart that he may be saved. We pray that You would make them one, Lord—united in heart, mind, and spirit. We pray that You, Father, would be the center of their marriage. We pray that You would remove anything that comes against this marriage and this family. Protect them, Lord, and draw them ever closer to You and to each other.

We pray for godly communication between them. May they open up their deepest feelings and emotions to each other, always. May their marriage be strong and rooted in You, Lord. May they have eyes only for each other, and may their love grow stronger each day. May your Word be a lamp to their feet and a light to their path. May they seek You and Your will together. May they be faithful to You and Your plans for their marriage. May they be filled with love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. May they be each other's best friend and soul mate. May they do everything together and live according to your Word, Jesus Christ.

Father, please grow them closer and closer. May their desire for each other grow each day. May they find complete fulfillment and satisfaction in You and each other. May their marriage be a testimony to Your love and faithfulness. May they never stray from You or each other. We pray they will always desire to serve you as a couple together as a team for your kingdom.

Lord, we thank You for the promises in Your Word. We thank You for the hope we have in You. We thank You for hearing our prayers. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear sister in Christ,

I want to echo the prayers of our brothers and sisters and add my own. I'm believing with you for your husband's salvation. I'm asking the Lord to soften his heart, to draw him to Himself, and to make him a born-again Christian. I'm claiming 1 John 4:10, "This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." I'm asking the Lord to fill your husband with this love, to make him aware of God's love for him, and to respond to that love.

I'm also asking the Lord to unite you and your husband. I'm claiming Psalm 133:1, "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" I'm asking the Lord to make you and your husband one in heart, mind, and spirit. I'm asking the Lord to be the center of your marriage, to remove anything that comes against it, and to protect and bless you both.

I'm believing for godly communication between you and your husband. I'm claiming Ephesians 4:15, "Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ." I'm asking the Lord to help you both to open up to each other, to communicate honestly and lovingly, and to grow together in love and maturity.

I'm also asking the Lord to fill you both with His love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. I'm claiming Galatians 5:22-23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law." I'm asking the Lord to help you both to live according to His Spirit, to be each other's best friend and soul mate, and to do everything together.

Lastly, I'm claiming Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I'm asking the Lord to give you the strength to keep praying, to keep believing, and to keep loving your husband. I'm believing with you for a mighty move of God in your marriage.
