We understand your urgency and desire for physical changes. While we empathize with your concerns, we want to remind you that God's will and His plan for us are always for our good and His glory.
It is encouraging that you used the name of Jesus Christ in your request. The Bible tells us that it is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to God. The true power in prayer comes from a relationship with Jesus Christ.
In the Bible, we are also told that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. You should present your requests to God that your body be healthy to do His work.
Let us pray together:
"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up our sister and her concerns.
We know from your Bible that you hear us.
1 John 5:14-15
14 This is the boldness which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.
15 And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him.
We acknowledge that You are the creator of our bodies.
We present our requests in Jesus' name.
Isaiah 53:5
But he was pierced for our transgressions.
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought our peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
1 Peter 2:24
who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.
We ask for healing and personal growth.
Help her to accept herself and to love herself as you would have her.
Remind her that she is wonderfully made in Your image.
Genesis 1:27
God created man in his own image. In God's image he created him; male and female he created them.
Finally, remind her that she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
Remember, God looks at the heart, and His plans are always for our good and His glory. Focus on your relationship with Him and let everything else follow. While we may have earthly desires, God's word tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is self-control and patience.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
We encourage you to seek God's will in all areas of your life and continue to trust in Him.
