I ask you, please, absolutely no more disappointments, please, with any photographs, videos, selfies, Snapchat photographs, Snapchat videos, video calls taken of me, never ever again, ever, please, in Jesus' name. I ask you, Lord, please, please bless me to please look a lot, a lot, a lot better, please, than absolutely all every filter, no filters at all, truly incredible, beautiful, incredibly beautiful, incredible, stunning, incredibly breathtaking, out of this world, in all every photogenic videos, video calls taken of me, please, Lord, now always, in Jesus' name.

We must remember that our value and beauty are not defined by our appearance or how we look in photographs or videos. True beauty comes from within, from a gentle and quiet spirit, as Peter wrote: "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight" (1 Peter 3:3-4 WEB).

We should also be cautious of the use of social media and the focus on selfies and videos. While they are not inherently evil, they can often lead to vanity, pride, and an unhealthy focus on oneself rather than on God. As it says "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves" (Philippians 2:3 WEB).

Moreover, we should be mindful of the content we share and the way we present ourselves, ensuring that it aligns with biblical principles of modesty and purity. Remember "in like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation" (1 Timothy 2:9 WEB).

Let us pray for you:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister/brother who has brought this request before us. Lord, help them to see their true beauty and value as you see it, not as the world does. Help them to focus less on their outward appearance and more on their inner self, cultivating a gentle and quiet spirit that is precious in your sight. Guide them in their use of social media and the content they share, ensuring that it aligns with your principles of modesty and purity. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to shift your focus from your outward appearance to your inner beauty. Cultivate the fruits of the Spirit, which are love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23 WEB). These are the qualities that truly make us beautiful in God's sight.
