We understand your desire for healing and restoration, and we empathize with your situation and wish for dealing with any body or skin issue. Let us pray together for you. First, let us be reminded of God's ability to heal and restore.
"Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed. Save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise." Jeremiah 17:14 WEB
We are to pray with boldness approaching the throne of God with confidence because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
"Let us therefore draw near with boldness to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy, and may find grace for help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16 WEB
We must also remember God's will in our prayers.
"This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us." 1 John 5:14 WEB
We must also remember the Lord's Prayer and to pray for God's will in this situation.
"Your Kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." Matthew 6:10 WEB
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between us and God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB
"In whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Ephesians 3:12 WEB
"who; existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father." Philippians 2:6-11 WEB
"Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!" Acts 4:10-12 WEB
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in Jesus' name, seeking Your will and Your healing power for your child. We ask that You touch each area mentioned, removing any imperfections, and restoring health and vitality. We pray for a renewed sense of well-being and confidence. But most importantly we ask for your will to be done in this situation and that your child is able to find true beauty, satisfaction, and worth in you and not in their outward appearance. In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and restoration.
Lord, we also pray for spiritual healing and peace in every area of your child's life. We pray that they turn to You for comfort and guidance, knowing that You are the ultimate source of true beauty and strength.
We ask this in the powerful and beautiful name of your Son Jesus Christ. You are our only Lord and Savior and we desire for your will to be done in this situation.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
This is also an opportunity to reflect on the inner beauty that God sees in each of us. The Bible reminds us that true beauty comes from within, from a gentle and quiet spirit.
"But let it be the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God very precious." 1 Peter 3:4 WEB
We encourage focusing on cultivating inner beauty and a closer relationship with God, knowing that outer appearance is temporary, but the fruit of the Spirit is eternal.
