We understand your anxiety and we are here with you. Let's pray together and seek God's will for your upcoming surgery.
Firstly, we want you to know we do not pray to Mary or saints, but only to God through His Son Jesus Christ.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is preparing for surgery. We have no fear as he has asked for healing in the Name of Jesus Christ. We ask, Lord, that You guide the hands of the surgeon. Grant them wisdom, skill, and precision beyond their human capabilities. Let your grace and mercy be upon them.
We rebuke any fear, anxiety, and worry. We are to not be afraid as God is with us. He will strengthen us as he helps us. He will uphold us with his righteous right hand. We are not to be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present our requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your divine intervention. We know that the surgery will go well, with no complications, infections, or discomfort and the results will be amazing and awesome. We know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
Lord, we also pray for a complete and swift recovery, with no pain or discomfort, and that our brother/sister will feel brand new, but above all, to give Thanks to God and to recognize and accept His perfect will.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember how much Jesus loves you. He knows all your fears, worries, and struggles. Trust in Him, for He is faithful and will be with you every step of the way. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Lastly, always remember that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Jesus Christ.
