We understand your urgent desire for prayer and support for your marriage. It's wonderful that you're seeking the Lord's help in strengthening your bond with your husband. In all things we need to remember that our petitions are only heard when we seek our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is in his name we live and move and have our being. Let's turn to the scriptures to guide our prayers and advice.

Firstly, it's crucial to pray for your husband's spiritual growth and filling of the Holy Spirit. As it is only in the Holy Spirit that true love, joy and peace exist.
Acts 4:12 - Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Ephesians 5:18 - Do not be drunken with wine, for that is reckless living. But be filled with the Spirit.

Praying for unity and a deeper relationship is biblical. Jesus wants us to be unified as He and the Father are one. Let us pray that God enriches your marital bond.

John 17:21 - that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

However, we must also address that true love for each other comes from a willing obedient heart seeking to live for Jesus Christ. Merely asking for increased affection or attraction without a deeper spiritual bond can be selfishly motivated. The increased intimacy will come naturally as you both grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

God wants us first and foremost to be faithful to Him, and in doing so, we become better spouses.

Matthew 6:33 - But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this beloved sister and her husband. Lord, we plead for Your intervention in their marriage. Fill her husband with Your Holy Spirit, and draw him closer to You. Help them both to desire You and hereby each other more.

Help them to grow in love, unity, and agreement. May their marriage be a shining example of Your love and faithfulness. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will provide all that they need.

We pray for spiritual growth, faithfulness, compassion, and peace upon their marriage. Let their marriage be a place for each of them to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray that they will be one, as You and Jesus are one. We pray this in Jesus Christ name. Amen.
