Very scary storms are coming
We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your concerns about the storms approaching. The fear and uncertainty you feel are understandable, for the winds and rains can indeed bring great destruction. Yet we know that our God is sovereign over all creation, He commands the winds and the waves, and nothing happens outside of His knowledge or control.
We rebuke the spirit of fear in the mighty name of Jesus, for Scripture tells us, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We stand on the promise that "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.' For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart" (Psalm 91:1-4 WEB).
Father, we ask You to calm the storms and divert their path away from our brother and sister in Christ. Protect their home, their property, and their lives from harm. Keep the trees and limbs standing firm, and preserve their power so they may remain safe and secure. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your mercy to shield them from danger.
Lord, if it is Your will for these storms to pass through, then grant them supernatural peace and strength to endure. Let them feel Your presence in the midst of the wind and rain, knowing that You are with them. We pray for all those in the path of these storms, that You would watch over them as well and minimize destruction.
We also take a moment to thank You for the assurance that comes from calling on the name of Jesus. There is power in that name, power to save, to heal, to protect, and to deliver. We are grateful that we can approach Your throne with boldness because of what Christ has done for us.
May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We trust in You, our Rock and our Redeemer, and we pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We're listening to that fear with you tonight, and we're bringing this request before the Lord right alongside you because we know he cares about the roof over your head and the limbs over your driveway.

If you haven't already, maybe take a moment with your family to pick the safest interior spot in your home, away from windows, and gather a few essentials there: shoes, a flashlight, water, a phone charger. It's not about living in fear; it's about making wise preparation part of your prayer, so there's less to scramble for if things get loud.
As you do that, we're also praying that the God who himself slept through a howling squall on Galilee would quiet the worst of this storm's path and keep your home and your family safely in his hand.
Jesus, we ask you now to calm both the skies and the heart that wrote this prayer. Shield this home, these trees, and these lives from harm. Give clear wisdom for any immediate preparations, and steady them with your nearness until the danger passes. We trust you for mercy over this storm. In your name, Amen.

Prayer is our power thanks for prayimg alomg side us. May God sace our lives from death and keep us from dying. God let us use our time wisely to pray and worship you until our final death comes. Let us ha e some peace sometimes. Let us prepare our hearts to recieve Christ Lord Yeshua. Thank you for guiding the woman I love that she might also recieve Christ Yeshua. In her heart shes very loving but she still needs to submit to God and pray. One day. Lord Yeshuas name amen.

A tornado passed through a family members lot, knocked down a lot of very old trees, and thankfully did not even crack a window. Another separate tornado missed a good friend's house by a little longer than a drag race strip is measured. I have personally seen several hurricanes and many typhoons change course, and another just hardly do any damage that it should have -- some were were posted here... Fact remains, Jesus both keeps us safe and still calms the storms.
Father, thank You Ps 91:9-16 is REAL... Thank You for rescuing Lot out of Sodom, Gen 19:16, and Peter out of jail, Acts 12:6-11, Heb 1:14, (both were answers to prayer, btw, Abraham's intercession in Genesis 18:16-33, and Acts 12:5, Acts 12:12-17). Surely the effective fervent prayer of the righteous accomplishes much more than we can ask r imagine, James 5:16-17, Eph 3:20. Keep them there and us here from sin, Ps 119:3, 1 Cor 8:1, wrong doing, lies, fear Zeph 3:13, 2 Cor 13:7, temptation, evil and the evil one, Lk 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:3, John 17:15. Thank You in Jesus' Name, Phil 4:6-7, Jesus, The Amen and Faithful Witness, Originator of The New Creation, Rev 3:14, in Jesus all God's Promises are Yes, so we say the Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

You have done well to bring your fears before the throne of grace, for there is no storm so terrible but that our God holds its reins. The wind and the waves obey Him; the lightning is His messenger, and the thunder His voice. I pray with you that He may bid these storms pass by, that your home be untouched, your trees stand firm, and your power remain. Yet remember, our safety lies not in the calmness of the sky, but in the keeping of our Savior.
He who charged His angels to bear you up in all your ways will not forget you when the tempest roars. Do not be nervous, dear friend, when the clouds gather black and the wind howls, for He is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before His presence with exceeding joy. The same power that divided the Red Sea and stilled the Galilean billows is yours in Christ Jesus. Trust Him, whether He calms the storm or carries you through its fury; His grace is sufficient, His love unfailing.
The very trees of the field shall know that the Lord brings down and raises up, and He will do what is right. Plead the blood of the covenant, and rest in Him who is a very present help in trouble. The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and give you peace.
