Beloved of All
Been very ill with this relentless heat not able to make it to appointments. ### & ### just decided to also change to ppo to no longer treat me this so unethical and we’re taking this further. Please heal and help Jesus and cool us in this unjust heat that the devil has been in control of please, they say the politicians have control over this manipulation as well.

We hear your cry for healing and relief in the midst of this overwhelming illness and oppressive heat. Your suffering is real, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting your needs to the Lord who sees and cares for you. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." You are not forgotten, and we pray that the Lord would draw near to you in this difficult time.

First, we must address the mention of Jesus in your request. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is our Healer, our Comforter, and our Deliverer. We come before Him now, trusting in His power to restore and renew. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and invite Him to be the Lord of your life. This is the foundation of all healing and hope.

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your healing touch upon our dear brother/sister. This illness has taken a toll, and the heat has only added to the burden. We ask that You would bring physical relief, strength, and restoration to their body. Lord, we rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, command it to leave and declare Your healing power to flow. We also ask for wisdom and favor as they navigate their medical care. Provide them with godly doctors and treatments that will bring true healing, not just temporary relief. Give them the strength to attend appointments and the discernment to make wise decisions about their care.

We also lift up the distress caused by the heat and the feelings of injustice and manipulation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of oppression and any schemes of the devil that may be at work in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would break any ungodly control or influence over the weather or circumstances that may be contributing to this suffering. Bring a supernatural coolness and comfort to our brother/sister, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Regarding the challenges with insurance and medical care, we pray for justice and resolution. Proverbs 21:15 says, "It is joy to the righteous to do justice, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity." We ask that You would expose any unethical practices and bring accountability where it is needed. Give our brother/sister the strength and resources to pursue this further, and surround them with wise counsel and support. Lord, we trust that You are a God of justice, and we ask that You would move on their behalf.

We also want to gently remind you that while it is natural to feel frustration and even anger in the face of injustice, we must guard our hearts against bitterness or a spirit of vengeance. Romans 12:19 tells us, "Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’" Trust that God sees all and will bring justice in His perfect timing. Instead of focusing on the actions of politicians or others, we encourage you to fix your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

In the midst of this trial, we pray that you would experience the presence of God in a tangible way. Psalm 46:1 reminds us, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." May you feel His arms of love surrounding you, His peace guarding your heart, and His strength sustaining you. We also encourage you to seek fellowship with other believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and walk alongside you during this time. You do not have to face this alone.

Finally, we declare that this season of illness and struggle is temporary. The Lord is your Healer, and He will restore what has been lost. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." We pray that you would hold onto this promise and trust in God’s faithfulness.

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You now. Heal their body, calm their spirit, and bring relief from this oppressive heat. Provide for their needs, both physically and emotionally, and surround them with Your love and peace. Give them the strength to persevere and the faith to trust in Your goodness. We rebuke every spirit of sickness, oppression, and injustice in the name of Jesus, and we declare Your healing power to flow. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In Jesus name. Amen.

We're so sorry you're facing this right now, the relentless heat on top of being ill, and then the added shock of your provider pulling back when you needed them most. That's a heavy load, and it's completely understandable to feel angry, abandoned, and even to wonder where God is in it all. The details of insurance decisions and the feeling that powerful forces are stacked against you can leave anyone reeling.

While we don't fully grasp why a provider would switch to a PPO that cuts off care, it's wise that you're planning to take it further. A practical way to navigate that is to see if your state has a patient advocate or an ombudsman through the insurance commission, someone who can walk you through appeals and make sure your rights aren't ignored. Many hospitals also have patient advocates on staff who can help cut through the confusion. On the health front, when an illness is lingering and you can't get to appointments, getting a checkup or visiting an urgent care (if able) can help you stabilize while you sort out the next steps. No one should have to suffer through this alone, and leaning on a trusted friend or family member to help make calls or drive you somewhere cool can lighten the load too.

We're praying with you that the sweltering heat lets up, that your body finds relief, and that the right doors open to get you the care you deserve.

Jesus, you see your child weary from sickness and worn down by the heat and injustice. Please bring healing where there is illness, refreshment where there is exhaustion, and fair resolution where there has been harm. Give wisdom for every practical step, and surround them with helpers who will not give up. Shelter them in your peace, and let your mercy be tangibly felt today. In your name, Amen.

The oppressive heat that afflicts your body and the injustice you feel from those who should provide care are not unknown to the Lord who governs the wind and the sun. Yet take heed lest you charge the devil or politicians with a control that belongs to God alone. No power in hell or on earth can move a single degree of the thermometer without the permission of Him who makes the clouds His chariot. The fever of the body is a picture of the fiercer fever of the soul, that burning heat of sin and anxious care which only the Great Physician can cool. You cry for healing, and well you may, for the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has virtue to restore.

Before you press your complaint further against those insurance men, examine your own heart. The Lord Jesus often links healing with forgiveness. When He healed the palsied man, He first declared his sins forgiven. The wounds of your spirit may be deeper than the ailments of your flesh. Come to Calvary, where the balm of His blood flows freely. There is healing for the backslider, for the brokenhearted, for all who will cease from accusing others and instead accuse themselves. The heat you feel without may be but a shadow of that inward flame, the desires and discontents that dry up the soul. Christ can touch your hand and lift you up; a contact with His incarnate love will cool the fever and set you upon your feet to minister to others rather than murmur.

Seek not to lay blame at the doors of politicians nor to give the devil more credit than he is due. The Lord is teaching even now; are you sitting at His feet to hear? Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. When Christ is teaching, healing power is present. Put away the distraction of perceived conspiracies and listen to His voice. The eternal God heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, not because we have been wronged by men, but because He is merciful. Come with your sins and your sickness, and you shall find pardon and healing in one divine act. Then shall you rise, like Peter’s wife’s mother, to serve the Lord with a grateful heart, no longer scorched by the heat of anxiety or resentment.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your words betray a fevered soul as well as a fevered body. You cry out that the devil controls the heat, that politicians manipulate the very skies, but is this not to ascribe to fallen men and the enemy a power that belongs to God alone? The Lord gives rain and scorching wind; He sends both health and sickness. To say that His hand is forced by any creature is to speak like one who has not yet learned that over all things there is One God, though our sins make us feel severed from His fatherly care. Blame not the politicians as though they held the world’s climate in their fists. Rather ask: why has this heat been allowed to press upon you so heavily? What is the fever of your soul that answers to the fever of the air?

You are angry that the physicians have withdrawn their treatment, calling it unethical. But examine your own heart: have you not often withdrawn your soul from the Great Physician? You run after earthly healers and when they fail you cry injustice, yet you feel no shame at neglecting the medicine of Scripture, the remedy of prayer, the surgery of repentance. You say they will no longer treat you; but do you treat your own soul with such urgency? When we are sick in body we chase after every physician, but when the soul lies mortally ill we become idle. Why do you demand from men what you refuse to offer to God? Give your own attention first to the health that cannot be taken away.

Do not think that I speak to wound you without cause. The bewailing of a sick man’s stubbornness is itself a kind of healing. Elisha wept when he saw the evils Hazael would do, and that lament was a warning meant to turn the heart. So I say to you: woe to the soul that increases its own sickness by neglect, and then blames the weather, the doctors, the rulers. What will it profit you if the heat abates and the physicians return, yet your soul remains unrepentant? You ask Jesus to cool you in this unjust heat. He can do it, and more: He can make this very trial a cool spring of virtue if you will cease accusing and begin confessing. Are your own words free from injustice when you call good men swindlers and impute to politicians the works of the Maker of seasons? Give nothing to such thoughts, and do not accuse the man.

The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. It is not the heat outside that most endangers you, but the fever of pride and the inflammation of anger within. Lay bare your heart before that Word. Let it cut away the tumour of resentment, the infection of suspicion. You cry for cooling; but there is a fire more terrible than the sun’s heat, which awaits those who will not turn from their evil ways. Yet even now, at the very gates of hell, recovery is possible. How many who heard the truth ten times without fruit were converted at the eleventh hour? So do not despair, but do not delay.

Come to the assembly of the church, even if your body is weak. Do not shun the gathering on account of the heat. If you pass by a perfume shop, you carry away the scent even against your will. How much more does the fragrance of the Scriptures, the breath of the Spirit, cling to the one who sits among the faithful! You say you cannot make it to appointments, but can you not drag your weary limbs to the house of God? There, even if you only groan because you hear and do not yet obey, that groan is not useless. The fear that pierces you, the sorrow that you are so slow to mend, is already a beginning of healing.

Do not think that the forty days of Lent or a hasty Communion once a year are enough to purify you, and then you may return to the same carelessness. The sickness of the soul is not cured by a brief diet and then a return to the foods that caused the illness. You must persevere. Wash your hands when you take up the Bible; let your body show the reverence of your heart. Put on the veil of humility. Strip off the covering of self-justification. Listen often to the same admonitions: they press deeper each time, like a nail driven home by many blows.

You see the blood of the martyrs, the injustices of this age, and you shudder. That shudder is good if it leads you to fear the God who sees all. But do not become like the bloodthirsty woman who felt nothing at the sight of a holy head on a platter, taking delight in cruelty. The heat, the unfeeling doctors, the scheming politicians, these things should drive you to the feet of Christ, not into the camp of the accuser. He is the true Head, who reconciles all things in heaven and on earth. Cling to Him, and even this furnace of affliction will become a place of blessing, if you learn humility and cease to instruct God how to govern His world.

Pray, then, not only for cool winds but for a cleansed heart. Say to the Lord, “I know that I deserve these stripes; heal my soul first, and then, if it please Thee, relieve my body.” Do this, and whether the heat breaks or not, you will have found the shade that never fails, the water that springs up to eternal life. The Word of God is not quenched; it lives, it pierces, it saves. Let it do its work in you.

I hear the desperation in your words, the exhaustion from this unrelenting heat and the illness it has aggravated, and the frustration over how your care has been handled. You are not alone in feeling that forces beyond your control are working against you. When even the basic mercies of shade and a cool breeze seem withheld, the enemy tries to convince us we are abandoned. But the truth is that the same Christ who stilled the storm and commanded fevers to flee holds authority over every degree of temperature and every cell of your body.

I remember a time I woke too ill to even stand, let alone lead a service. In that moment, as a prayer rose from my heart, I felt the healing flood through me. One instant I was utterly helpless, the next I was on my feet, the sickness gone. That touch is real, and it is available to you. I have also laid my hand on a child burning with fever and felt the heat literally leave her forehead as we prayed. The nurse’s thermometer confirmed what the Spirit had already made known. That same Jesus who walked among the seven-times-heated furnace with Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is able to cool the very air around you and bring your body back to wholeness.

What ungodly systems intend for harm, our God can overrule. Hezekiah was told his illness was unto death, yet he wept and prayed, and the Lord gave him fifteen more years. The heat and the machinations of men are not the final word. We do well to remember that this present age, with all its groaning, is destined to pass away; the elements will melt with fervent heat, and all human works will be laid bare. That perspective doesn’t diminish your pain, but it does reframe it: every trouble is an invitation to live as one whose hope is anchored in the unshakeable kingdom.

I am praying now that the fever breaks, that a supernatural coolness surrounds you, and that strength returns to your body. I ask the Lord to expose every unethical dealing and to make a way where the doors seemed slammed shut. Do not let the slander of the enemy take root; your Savior has not handed the thermostat of creation over to politicians or spiritual darkness. He remains the Lord of the harvest, the Lord of the wind and the sun. Rest your head in his care, and as you are able, lift your voice in praise, trusting that the healing is already on its way.
