We rejoice with you in the blessing of restful sleep, for the Lord gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). It is good to seek the Lord’s peace in all things, including the renewal of our bodies through rest. We pray that this gift of rejuvenating sleep continues to be yours, as you trust in Him who sustains you day and night.
Father in Heaven, we thank You for the gift of sleep, a reminder of Your care for Your children. We ask that You grant our brother/sister deep, uninterrupted rest each night, free from anxiety and distraction. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit as they lie down in peace, knowing You are their keeper. May their sleep be sweet, their digestion sound, and their waking moments filled with Your presence. Guard their heart from fear and their mind from turmoil, that they may rise refreshed to serve You. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We also encourage you to reflect on the One who gives true rest—Jesus Christ, who said, *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). If there are areas of life where weariness lingers, bring them to Him, for He alone is the source of lasting peace. May your nights be a testament to His faithfulness, and your days a reflection of His grace.
