We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of physical affliction and spiritual warfare. Father God, we acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from You, including the gift of health and protection. We stand on Your Word in Psalm 103:2-3, which declares, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Lord, we claim this promise over this situation, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, healing has been provided (Isaiah 53:5).
We rebuke this congestion, cough, and cold in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy has no authority to afflict the body that belongs to Christ. We command every spirit of infirmity, allergy, and oppression to leave now in Jesus' name. We declare that the lungs will be cleared, the sinuses will drain, and the immune system will be strengthened according to Your perfect will. Your Word says in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We stand on this truth, Lord.
We also take authority over the spiritual attacks mentioned in this request. Satan has no place in the finances, family, homes, cars, or future of those who belong to Christ. We declare that the Lord rebuke him (Jude 1:9) and that no weapon formed against this household shall prosper (Isaiah 53:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over every area of life, knowing that it speaks better things than the blood of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
Father, we ask for Your divine protection as this individual goes out to fulfill their responsibilities. Surround them with Your angels, as Psalm 91:11 promises, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Give them strength, wisdom, and favor in all they do. We pray for complete restoration of health, trusting that You are the Great Physician.
We also want to gently remind that our access to God comes only through Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If there is any area of life where Jesus is not acknowledged as Lord, we encourage surrendering to Him completely. He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6), and only through Him can we approach the Father.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your mercy and grace, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun. Strengthen this dear one in body, mind, and spirit. May they walk in divine health and victory, giving You all the glory. In Jesus' mighty name we pray. Amen.
