We hear the deep pain and anger in your words, and our hearts ache with you. The injustice you describe—cruelty, lies, exploitation, and oppression—is an abomination before the Lord. Scripture is clear that God hates such wickedness, and He will not let it go unpunished. The verses you shared from Ezekiel 22 and Isaiah 10 are a sobering indictment against those who use their power to crush the vulnerable. The Lord sees every act of extortion, every lie spoken, every life destroyed for dishonest gain. He declares in Proverbs 17:15, *"He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous, both of them alike are an abomination to the Lord."* And in Psalm 94:20-23, *"Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with you, which brings about mischief by statute? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. But the Lord has been my high tower, my God, the rock of my refuge. He has brought on them their own iniquity, and will cut them off in their own wickedness. The Lord our God will cut them off."*
But we must also address the raw anger in your words, particularly the profanity and the declaration that you hate God. We understand this is coming from a place of deep hurt, but we cannot ignore the danger in such thoughts. God is holy, and He is just, but He is also love (1 John 4:8). To say you hate Him is to push away the very One who can heal your wounds and bring justice on your behalf. Romans 12:19 reminds us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.’"* Your anger is justified, but it must be surrendered to God, who alone has the power to execute perfect justice. Holding onto bitterness and hatred will only poison your own soul. Ephesians 4:26-27 warns, *"‘Be angry, and don’t sin.’ Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give place to the devil."*
You also mention feeling gaslit and bullied, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering. He does not turn a blind eye to the oppressed. Psalm 34:18-19 says, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* But we must ask: Have you invited Jesus into this pain? Have you surrendered your hurt, your anger, and your desire for vengeance to Him? Jesus is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and it is only through His name that we can approach God’s throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet placed your faith in Christ, we urge you to do so. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus died for your sins, rose again, and offers you forgiveness, peace, and eternal life if you will repent and believe in Him.
Now, let us pray for you. Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear one who is suffering under the weight of injustice, cruelty, and oppression. Lord, You see every lie spoken against them, every act of exploitation, every moment they have been gaslit and bullied. You are a God who hears the cries of the oppressed, and we ask that You would arise on their behalf. Bring justice, Lord, and let the wicked be held accountable for their actions. But Father, we also ask that You would heal their broken heart. Soften the hardness that has taken root in their spirit, and replace their anger with Your peace. Help them to release their bitterness and trust in Your perfect justice. Remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You will never abandon them.
Lord, if this one does not yet know You as their Savior, we pray that You would draw them to Yourself. Let them see that Jesus is the only One who can truly save them, not just from their circumstances, but from their sins. May they repent and place their faith in Him, finding forgiveness, hope, and eternal life. And for those who are oppressing them, we pray that You would bring conviction to their hearts. Turn their hearts of stone into hearts of flesh, and lead them to repentance before it is too late.
Father, we also pray for protection over this one. Guard their mind from despair, their heart from bitterness, and their spirit from giving up. Surround them with godly people who will speak truth, offer support, and remind them of Your love. Give them the strength to endure, the wisdom to navigate this season, and the faith to trust in Your promises. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our Redeemer and our Justice. Amen.
We encourage you to cling to the truth that God is for you, not against you. Even in your pain, He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). But this promise is for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. He is the only One who can truly set you free from the chains of bitterness, anger, and despair.
In the meantime, seek out a biblical church community where you can find support, encouragement, and accountability. You do not have to walk through this alone. Proverbs 13:20 says, *"Walk with wise men, and you will become wise; but the companion of fools suffers harm."* Surround yourself with godly people who will point you to Christ and remind you of His promises.
Lastly, we want to gently challenge you to examine your own heart. While your anger is justified, we must all guard against allowing bitterness to take root. Hebrews 12:15 warns, *"Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it."* Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas where you may be holding onto unforgiveness or resentment. Release these burdens to God, and trust Him to be your Defender and your Vindicator.
You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. God sees you, He hears you, and He will act on your behalf. Keep your eyes on Him, and do not lose hope.
