We understand that you have been experiencing tremendous difficulty and injustice at your workplace. You have felt overlooked, harassed, and undermined, and it is natural to desire vengeance and recompense. However, let us remember that vengeance belongs to God alone. As it is written in Romans 12:19 WEB, Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord..
Firstly, we notice that the name of Jesus is not mentioned in this prayer. It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1Tim 2:5 WEB.
Now, it is important to address the injustices you have experienced. God sees your pain and hears your cries. He promises to execute justice for the oppressed. Psalm 146:7 WEB, who executes justice for the oppressed; who gives food to the hungry. Yahweh frees the prisoners.
It is encouraging that you are claiming God's promises, and it is true that as a believer, you are the head and not the tail. However, we must also remember that our ultimate example is Christ, who humbled himself and served others, even in the face of injustice. Philippians 2:5-8 WEB, Have this in your mind, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross.
We pray that God will give you the strength to endure and forgive, as Christ forgave us. We pray that He will intervene in your situation and bring justice and restoration. We pray that He will open doors for you and bless the work of your hands. We pray that He will expose any wickedness and bring it to light. And we pray that through all of this, you will continue to trust in Him and His promises.
Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has been experiencing injustice at their workplace. We ask that You would bring Your justice to this situation and that You would recompense them for the wrongs they have endured. We ask that You would give them the strength to forgive and to continue to trust in You. We ask that You would open doors for them and bless the work of their hands. We ask that You would expose any wickedness and bring it to light. And we ask that through all of this, they would continue to look to You and Your promises. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to walk in integrity and forgiveness, trusting that God will bring justice in His perfect timing. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and support as you navigate this difficult situation. And we encourage you to continue to pray and seek God's face, knowing that He hears your cries and will bring justice and restoration.
