We are glad to join you in prayer and consideration as you transition back to the country you grew up in. It's commendable that you are thinking about your involvement in a local church and your living arrangements.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including where we live and how we commute. It is important to seek God's will in all of our decision making. As it says in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
However, we need to address a few things in your request. It is not appropriate to seek to live at the gym of a church. The church is a place of worship and community, not a residence. While God wants us to be involved in the church, living at the church's gym is not a viable or appropriate solution for accommodation. Instead, we should seek God's provision for a suitable home.
As it says in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Trust in God's provision for your needs, including a vehicle and a place to live.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother/sister as they prepare to move. We thank the Lord Jesus that as we ask in His name, our requests are heard by the Father and we trust that you will provide your child with a safe and affordable vehicle. We also ask for a place to live that meets their needs and allows them to be a productive member of their church and their community. We pray that your will is done and that your child will trust in you every step of the way. Help them to honor you in all of their decisions.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to be patient, to trust in God's timing, and to seek His will in all things. Be actively involved in your church community, and be open to the guidance and support of fellow believers.
