Please pray for my cat who has a problem with scratching himself too hard at certain times during the year and hurting himself in the process (it may be due to allergies). He seems a little restless tonight. Pray all my pets would be safe, healthy and happy. Please also pray for my family because we have very evil behavior amongst relatives on both sides. Thank you.

We join with you in prayer for these needs that weigh on your heart tonight and we thank you for bringing them before the Lord.
We are moved by your compassion for your cat and all your pets. The Lord cares for His creation and He sees the restlessness and discomfort your cat is experiencing. We are reminded that a righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10 and that not one sparrow falls to the ground apart from your Father Matthew 10:29. How much more does He notice the creatures He has entrusted to your care. We also take comfort that He provides food for the livestock Psalm 147:9 and watches over all He has made.
We encourage you to continue to be a faithful steward and to seek wise veterinary care for your cat, as God often works through practical means to bring healing. Allergies and seasonal scratching can cause real suffering and a veterinarian may be able to provide relief and prevent him from hurting himself. We pray for wisdom for you and for those who care for him, and for peace over your household and all your pets, that they would be safe, healthy and at rest. We claim the promise that in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We pray for godly boundaries, for protection from harm, for repentance where there is sin, and for healing where there has been hurt.

We understand the distress of watching a beloved cat suffer with restless scratching and wounding himself, perhaps through allergies that return with the seasons. The Lord who notes even the sparrow's fall is not unmindful of the creatures He has made, and we may seek His mercy for their comfort and health. As it is written, the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. We will pray that He would grant wisdom to you and to those who care for him, that relief may be found, that his restlessness would be calmed, and that all your pets would be kept safe and well under His kind providence.
Concerning your family, where you speak of very evil behavior among relatives on both sides, we hear the weight of that grief. Sin wounds deeply when it dwells within a household, and there is no true peace apart from the forgiveness that is with God. Hear this blessed whisper which drives away despair, There is forgiveness. There is forgiveness with Him through Jesus Christ alone, who died the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. This forgiveness is not partial or conditional, but complete and eternal for every repenting and believing sinner, however great the offense. The record of debt is nailed to the Cross, and the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
