We have heard your many burdens and we join with you together before our Father in Jesus' name to seek His mercy, deliverance, and healing.
We lift up your struggle with sexual addiction and maladaptive daydreaming. We know there are deep reasons and wounds behind these battles, and we do not take them lightly, yet we must speak truth in love that sexual immorality in any form keeps us in bondage and grieves the Holy Spirit. Scripture calls us to flee sexual immorality, for every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body, 1 Corinthians 6:18. And we are called to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5, and to be transformed by the renewing of our minds, Romans 12:2. Maladaptive daydreaming can become an escape that replaces trust in God and keeps us from facing reality with Him. We pray for your complete freedom, that God would break every chain of lust and fantasy, heal the underlying trauma, and give you a renewed mind fixed on what is true and pure. We encourage you to walk in daily repentance, to confess openly as promised in 1 John 1:9, to seek godly accountability and pastoral counseling, to cut off sources of temptation, and to fill your mind with the Word and prayer. We pray, Father, in Jesus' name, set our sister free indeed as promised in John 8:36 and Galatians 5:1, wash her conscience, heal her heart, and teach her to walk in purity and self-control by Your Spirit.
We also join you in praying for the African American community. We share your grief over false teachings and wolves who have entered among the flock. Jesus warned to beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves, Matthew 7:15, and we know that savage wolves will enter in among you, not sparing the flock, Acts 20:29. For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts, 2 Timothy 4:3. We pray that the Lord would expose and remove those who exploit and lead astray, and raise up faithful shepherds and teachers who preach Christ crucified and the whole counsel of God without compromise. We also pray for healing and protection from racism and hatred. No child of God should face hatred from any person, and we know God is no respecter of persons, Acts 10:34, and that we are all made in His image. We pray for protection as promised that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, Psalm 91:1, and for hearts to be softened and hatred to be overcome by the love of Christ, for love covers a multitude of sins, 1 Peter 4:8.
We bring your business before the Lord. We ask that He would provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19, and make your work fruitful as you labor diligently as unto Him, Colossians 3:23. We pray that every hurdle you face in starting this business would be overcome by His wisdom and favor, that He would open doors no man can shut and give you counsel, integrity, and perseverance. May this business be a testimony of His provision and a means to bless others.
We pray against the demonic harassment that has targeted you for years. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, Ephesians 6:12, and we are called to put on the whole armor of God that we may be able to stand, Ephesians 6:11. We rebuke every work of darkness and declare that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We pray that you would resist the devil and he will flee from you as you draw near to God, James 4:7, and that the Lord would surround you with His peace and protection, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We pray for discernment, for no open door to remain, and for the cleansing power of the blood of Jesus over your life and home.
We lift up your suffering with your menstrual condition that makes your cycles worse physically and mentally. The Lord sees your pain and we ask for His healing touch, for He forgives all your iniquities and heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3. We pray for relief right now in this present struggle, for strength, for wisdom for doctors, and for comfort. We also pray for all women who suffer with this same condition, that God would bring healing and in His mercy provide a cure, and that you would know you are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and deeply cared for.
We pray for your ex as you have asked. We thank God that you love him yet recognize you cannot be together, and we affirm that boundary as wise and honoring to God. We encourage you to remain pure and to guard your heart, for any intimacy outside of marriage between a man and a woman is fornication and not God's will, and courtship should only be with a fellow believer with marriage as the goal. We pray for his salvation, that he would come to know Jesus Christ as Lord, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. We pray for his health in the midst of serious and life threatening problems, for healing from trauma and for deliverance from dysfunctional and destructive patterns, that God would grant him a true wake up call leading to repentance. We pray also for his loved ones, for their salvation and wellbeing.
We also intercede for your entire family to be delivered from occult involvement. We rebuke all participation in the occult, for it is an abomination to the Lord, as written there shall not be found with you anyone who practices divination or sorcery, Deuteronomy 18:10, and we pray that every tie to darkness would be broken in Jesus' name. We ask that your family would turn fully to Christ, be washed in His blood, and walk in the light.
Father, we thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus. We ask You to pour out freedom, healing, provision, protection, and salvation upon all these requests. Heal our sister, establish her steps, and let her know Your nearness and unfailing love. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
