Valley Of Sorrows

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil. For Thou art with me. Your rod and your staff they confort me. Psalm 23.4

Dread not the valley that God sends your way.
It could be a loss of a job.
An ill health,
A broken heart,
A joyless life.
God is trying our faith.
He is telling us...
Do you really love Me?
Are you willing to follow Me?

### lost everything he had in this world. His wife rebuked him. His wealth was gone, his children suffered, his health was ruined. He had sores all over his body. He had to go through the valley of the shadow of death. ###'s response was....

Even if He slays me I will hope in Him. Job 13.15

Let us all raise our eyes to Jesus.
He will come down to help you.
He knows all your troubles and tribulations.
He alone can take you out of the bottom of despair.

Why is it that God gets blamed for bad stuff? God does not send us sickness. He does not want us to have a broken heart. He does not take our job away. He does not send us a joyless life. Would an earthly father do that to their kids here on earth? Job did not lose everything because God did it, satan was the author of the troubles of Job even though Job said words to the effect that God did it. But because Job said it does not mean that God did it.

People will fall away from the protection of God, and calamities will afflict them. Look at the Israelites in the desert. They were supplied daily with food and water. Their clothes did not wear out. No one was sick. Every woman and animal gave birth, there was no one barren. What happened when they rebelled? People were killed, people had sickness.

The goodness of God draws people to repentance and salvation. Satan is the author of hardships and disease. Satan comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Satan is the author of all lies, and saying God gives us sickness and hardships is a lie.

Not once did Jesus give sickness to a person. Not once did Jesus not heal someone and say that it was the Father's Will for them to suffer. Also, if disease and sickness were the Will of the Father, why are people running to doctors trying to get out of the Father's Will and get out of the Father's Will? That would be rebellion.

God is good. Satan is evil. Is evil good and good evil? If God afflicts people then He is sadistic and is in agreement with Satan to kill and destroy people. And we are believing that is love? That is masochistic.

God is good. All the time.

Satan is evil, all the time.
