We hear your desperate cry for help, and our hearts ache with yours in this difficult situation. You are facing not only the threat of losing your shelter but also the burden of unjust fees and harsh treatment. Let us come before the Lord together, seeking His mercy, justice, and provision.
First, we must address the spiritual condition of ###. Scripture tells us, "The Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle towards all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him: perhaps God may give them repentance leading to a full knowledge of the truth" (2 Timothy 2:24-25). While it is right to stand for justice, we must also pray for her heart to be softened by the Holy Spirit. Her actions reflect a hardness that only God can change. We rebuke the spirit of oppression and greed in this situation and declare that God’s love and truth will prevail.
You mentioned living for Christ, and we praise God for your faith. Yet, we must also examine whether there are any areas where you may need to act in wisdom and obedience to God’s Word. Have you sought to resolve this matter through godly communication or mediation? "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men" (Romans 12:18). If there is any unpaid debt that is rightfully owed, we encourage you to address it honestly, even if the amount seems unfair. However, if these fees are truly unjust, we pray that God will expose the truth and bring justice.
We also lift up your immediate need for shelter. The Lord is our provider, and He cares deeply for you and your dog. "Look at the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?" (Matthew 6:26). We pray that God will open a door for you, whether through a kind soul offering temporary housing, a church providing assistance, or even a miraculous intervention where ###’s heart is changed.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Lord, You see the distress of Your child in this situation. You know the weight of fear and uncertainty pressing upon them. We ask that You would move powerfully in this hotel, softening the heart of ### and exposing any unrighteousness. Father, if there is any debt that needs to be paid, provide the means to settle it. If there is injustice, reveal it and bring correction.
Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of oppression and ask that You would open a way where there seems to be no way. Provide shelter, peace, and provision for them and their dog. Surround them with godly people who can offer support and wisdom.
Father, we also pray for ###. Soften her heart, Lord. Let her see the people in that hotel through Your eyes, precious souls in need of grace. Convict her of any wrongdoing and lead her to repentance. May she come to know You as her Savior and treat others with the kindness and fairness that You require.
We trust You, Lord, to work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our brother/sister in faith, reminding them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Guide their steps, and let Your peace guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
In the meantime, we encourage you to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations that may offer assistance with housing or mediation. Do not lose hope, God is your defender and provider. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He will make a way. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are not forgotten, and we stand with you in prayer.
