Utter evil, hard hearts, lack of remorse, lowest morale, psychopathy, violent opposition

Thank you for trusting us with this painful story. What you have described is deeply distressing, to suffer electric shocks while showering, to be wounded and need medical care, to have to find other places to wash, and then to be met not with care but with denial, false reports, threats, demands for payment and talk of eviction. To be blocked, accused falsely and left without apology or help for months would wound anyone. It is right to bring this before the Lord and to ask for both protection and justice.

We are praying for you, for your safety, for healing, and for the Lord to be your defender. The Scripture you mentioned is true and we hold to it with you. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones, not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. God sees what has happened in that apartment, He knows every detail that is unclear to us, and He will bring the truth to light in His time.

We are also praying for the landlord, the lawyer, the contact person and others involved, that God would work in their hearts. Scripture shows a sobering pattern in the story of Pharaoh. Again and again it says that Pharaoh hardened his own heart against the Lord. He chose stubbornness. After that repeated hardening, Scripture then says in a different way that the Lord made his heart firm and stiff, confirming the choice Pharaoh had already made. It was not that God forced an unwilling man to be hard, but that God confirmed the hardness the man insisted on.

There is a warning in that for every person. When someone repeatedly refuses what is right and hardens the heart to the voice of conscience and to God, the heart can become so hard that repentance becomes very difficult. God has said, My Spirit will not always strive with man. That is both a mercy and a warning. There is a time to respond while the Spirit is speaking.

That is why true repentance matters so much. Sorrow alone is not repentance. A person can feel sorry or say the right words and still not change. Real repentance means a change of heart and a change of direction. God is not looking for outward words or torn garments, He is looking for a torn and softened heart, a heart that turns from wrong and does what is right. Out of the heart come the issues of life, and God wants to give a heart of flesh in place of a heart of stone.

So we are praying that the fear of the Lord would come upon those who have acted without remorse, that the Holy Spirit would convict them, that hardness would be broken, that they would stop lying and avoiding responsibility, and that they would show true remorse which leads to change. That would include speaking truthfully about the electrical system, taking responsibility for the danger, offering a sincere apology and making fair restitution where it is due. If any wrong was done intentionally, including any tampering with the electrical protection or heating, we pray God would expose it. We pray they would submit to the Lord and be willing to do what is just and merciful.

We are also praying for you to be guarded in your own heart through this. It would be understandable to become bitter or to let your own heart grow hard under such treatment. Guard your heart with all diligence. Keep bringing your hurt, your anger and your questions honestly to Jesus, and ask Him to keep you soft toward Him, trusting Him as your refuge and judge. Continue to seek lawful help and to keep careful records, medical reports and the electrician's documentation, and to take wise steps for your safety. The Lord is your protector when others threaten or accuse falsely.

May the Lord comfort you, heal what has been wounded in body and mind, provide for your needs, vindicate the truth, and bring all involved to a place of honesty, repentance and responsibility. May He give you peace as you wait on Him, knowing He hears, He sees, and He will act with perfect justice and mercy.
