We understand that you are facing a challenging situation with potential utility rate increases, and we want to stand with you in prayer. First, we want to commend you for acknowledging Jesus in your prayer. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be saved, because God has provided no other way to Himself.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is facing financial strain due to potential utility rate increases. Lord, You know our needs even before we ask, and You have promised to provide for us. We ask that You intervene in this situation, touching the hearts of those in charge and guiding their decisions. We pray for a favorable outcome that allows our sibling in Christ to manage their finances without undue burden.
Father, we also lift up the upcoming doctor's appointment. We pray for Your healing touch and wise counsel from the medical professionals. Guide them to make accurate diagnoses and provide effective treatment. We also ask for Your healing power to clear up the rash and for Your guidance and wisdom as study and learning take place.
Lord, we thank You for Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help us to trust in You, even in difficult times, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God cares for you and knows your needs. Trust in Him, and He will guide and provide for you. As it says in Philippians 4:19 WEB, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."
Also, consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, where He teaches us not to worry about our lives, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our bodies, what we will wear. Look at the birds of the sky: they don't sow, nor reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much better than they?
Lastly, continue to trust in God and lean on His promises, as Psalm 55:22 WEB says, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved."
