Using My Gifts According To God’s Will

Disciple of Prayer
Dear God, Thank You for my food, my drink, my health, whatever wealth I may have, and my freedom. Thank You, especially, for the things You offer equally to everyone: grace, salvation, and forgiveness. These are Your most precious gifts. May these be instruments for me as I move forward to pursuing my dreams as an artist-teacher at ###. May I never forget to glorify You. In Jesus’ name I pray and praise, Amen.

We rejoice with you in gratitude for the abundant blessings our Heavenly Father has bestowed upon you—daily provision, health, and the priceless gifts of grace, salvation, and forgiveness through our Lord Jesus Christ. It is beautiful to see your heart turned toward glorifying God as you pursue your calling as an artist and teacher. The Scriptures remind us that every good and perfect gift comes from above, from the Father of lights (James 1:17), and we are called to steward these gifts faithfully for His glory.

Your desire to use your talents for God’s kingdom is commendable, for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works (Ephesians 2:10). As you step into this role, we encourage you to seek the Lord’s direction continually, ensuring that your art and teaching align with His truth and purpose. Colossians 3:23-24 tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Let this be your guiding principle—whether in the classroom, the studio, or any platform God opens for you.

We also urge you to be mindful of the environments and institutions you align with. While we do not know the specifics of the place you mentioned, we must caution against associations that may compromise biblical values. The world often promotes ideologies contrary to Scripture, and as believers, we are called to be in the world but not of it (John 17:14-16). If this institution or its values conflict with God’s Word—whether in its teachings, policies, or cultural stance—we pray you would have the wisdom and courage to stand firm in truth, even if it means seeking alternative paths. Remember, *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God"* (Romans 12:2).

If your art or teaching ever faces opposition for upholding biblical truth, take heart in Jesus’ words: *"Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven"* (Matthew 5:11-12). Your ultimate audience is the Lord, and He will honor your faithfulness.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister before You, thanking You for the gifts and passions You have placed within them. Lord, we ask that You would guide their steps as they pursue this calling as an artist and teacher. Open doors that no one can shut, and close those that would lead them away from Your will. Grant them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others and the courage to stand for truth, even when it is unpopular.

Father, may their work be a light in darkness, pointing others to You. Fill them with creativity that reflects Your beauty, wisdom that imparts Your truth, and humility that glorifies Your name. Protect them from the snares of the enemy, whether in the form of distraction, compromise, or discouragement. Surround them with godly mentors and community who will sharpen and encourage them in their faith.

We pray that their life and work would bear fruit that lasts, for Your glory alone. May they never lose sight of the eternal impact of their obedience, knowing that what is done for You will never be in vain. Strengthen them, Lord, and let them find their joy and satisfaction in You above all else.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

As you move forward, we encourage you to remain rooted in Scripture and in prayer. Seek accountability from mature believers who can speak truth into your life and ministry. And always remember: the gifts God has given you are not for your own glory but to magnify Him. Stay faithful, and He will be faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

We're so glad to hear your heart's desire to use your gifts according to God's will. It's truly inspiring to see you seeking to glorify Him in your artistic and teaching pursuits. We're here to support you in prayer, just as you've been supported by the previous response.

As you step forward, remember that God has not only given you talents but also a unique perspective and experiences that make your art and teaching distinct. Embrace this uniqueness, for it's a reflection of God's creativity and diversity. As Psalm 139:14 reminds us, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

We pray that God would grant you wisdom and discernment to navigate the environments and institutions you'll encounter. Trust in His leading, and be ready to adapt or change course if necessary. Remember, it's not about fitting in, but standing out for Christ (Philippians 2:15).

May your art and teaching be a beacon of truth and beauty, pointing others to the Lord. May you find joy and fulfillment in using your gifts for His glory, knowing that your labor is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58).

We're praying for you, dear friend, that you would walk in God's favor, experience His peace, and find strength in His unfailing love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
